Haha ! Joel as in CG ? :das: With the ute? :das: Haha !! Well, that must surely be worth some 'motherboard' exploration !!

Yep, the very same... Hopefully I can get somewhere with him...

*doesnt mean to butt in*

But the nutbush dance is amazing

Gotta love Tina !!!

Butt in any time you like Caz! You really should visit more often!

Must.. log.. onto.. mfc.. and.. make.. a.. thread.. con..traa..verssh...ialll...

I agree. But, surely there's a point to all the debate..

f.e. Mika's Dad did appear in public, most probably knowing full well there was going to be filming, so therefore, that's a public appearance and he is no longer a secret identity.. But where MFCers are concerned at gigs, etc, don't take photos of him without his knowledge and post them here..

If you do have a photo of him then there must be 99.9% certainty that he has concented to his photo being taken. yada yada yada.. and the only way that would be consensual is if he is POSING!!!!!

Edit: But, come to think of it, Yasmine had photos taken with some MFCers and then asked them not to post them on here, so it would seem the Penniman clan are a little wishy washy with their privacy requests at times. WHICH makes the guideline regarding family photo's a hard one to work by..

I can understand the idea of not wanting your photos posted on the net without consenting... If someone I didn't know took a photo of me and posted it on a site without me knowing, I wouldn't be too impressed... it would also be kind of stalkerish ...

Then again, if you pose for a photo, that is giving consent... and besides, the person who owns the camera owns the photo, so they can do what they like with it...

Yasmine will have to make up her mind... either she has photos with Mika's fans and should expect them to post them on the internet, or not have photos with fans and the problem is solved... can't have it both ways...

Oh, CD!

I read a post of yours in there..

I don't think MFC is highschool. I think we're more nightclub (and AMF is invitation only birthday party)

You see, at a nightclub you have:

1. people who go there to drink, dance and be merry

2. people who drink and do silly things.

3. people who drink and come out of their shell.

4. people who drink and get into heavy D&M's.

5. people who can't hold their liquor and talk ****.

6. people who don't drink at all and don't (or barely) socialise.

7. (and people who do other things etc, you get my drift..)

8. And at every nightclub there's guaranteed to be an absolute tosser, oblivious to the people around them, that gets about pestering everyone until finally, after everyone has been subjected to their annoying behaviour for long enough, a bouncer finally throws the ****en idiot out.

Why is it that a lot of people think MFC is like high school? It's nothing like high school to me... I just don't get it...

I think I've been 1, 2 or 3 any time I've gone out drinking... Always one of those... and I always have at least one drink... I can't go out and not have a drink...

And I've never done 7 (well not what I think you're referring to)... chicken?

hhaahhaah !I'm goign to bed now.. look i'm typoing

Silver.. send me a hot photo of your brother!! lol!!

goodnight

Noice typos Kelz... hungover today? :naughty:

I didn't quote the nightclub analysis, but I'm one of the one's who doesn't drink and probably doesn't socialise.

And I have trouble with chitchat in RL, and yep, it's the same on here too. Having said that, is it always worth talking just for the sake of it? And sometimes, people who are merely talking about what they did/are doing that day when it was nothing particularly special, DO get quoted. That always puzzled me.

I think those who have met me will agree with me when I say I'm quiet (sometimes to the point of being anti social)... I'm seriously not a sociable person, half the time I won't look people in the eye (cause it maks me really really uncomfortable)... I really have to make an effort a lot of the time... I'm almost like Seven of Nine or Tuvok (long silences don't bother me or make me uncomfortable... though people staring at me does...)

Basically I socialise cause I know that's what I should be doing... if that makes any sense (and that seemed really familiar for some reason... have I said that before?)...

With the chitchat, I guess it depends on what thye're doing... it might seem pointless to you, but not to someone else (oh wow, look at me! I'm deciphering the inner workings of other people's minds! :naughty:)

good i hears mika today!

I likes your sig... tis verra pretty!

See... I'm all about the pretties!

(which is something I said at TAFE, and Joel and I were pointing out hte pretties with the PCI cards we were looking at :das:)

Hey there. I was going to quote you yesterday, but had to get off the pc. I hope things settle down with you with your DS8 real soon. Have you made any decisions regarding medication?

I am seeing the paed on Thurs, have to do something even if its temproary to get him back on track.

Something interesting they talked about at that conference was that the rate of boys to girls with asperger's and autism (7 boys to 3 girls) is wrong and many girls are not diagnosed. Really the rate should be equal. This is cause the diagnosis criteria was formed from a study on boys and girl's symptoms are different.

The obsessions/ repetitive behaviours of girls are more sociably acceptable and girls are better at hiding them and blending in. Girls usually slip through and end up being teenagers with eating disorders, depression or wrongly diagnosed as bi-polar (spell).

Girls will tag along with a group even though they are not wanted. Girls will obsessivley bury themselves in a book, whereas boys will do socially disruptive/noticeable things like want to roll around the floor or line things up.

Firstly - what's the nutbush?

As for all the over-analysis, I've been enjoying it. As I said in another thread, it's like having some steak to chew on when you've been surrounded by fairy floss. I'll get sick of steak again, but for now it's good.

:naughty: Sometimes I love a bit of steak (not literally:naughty:) and then sometimes I get enough of it. I've already had enough it and can't be bothered posting in that thread again. Having said that ...

Must.. log.. onto.. mfc.. and.. make.. a.. thread.. con..traa..verssh...ialll...

Did anyone ever say they thought it acceptable to post pictures they had taken? That-person-with-the-french-ish-name-who-I-have-only-seen-making-contraversial-posts said (what I interpreted as jokingly) to take pictures of Fortune, but I don't think anyone ever implied they thought it would be okay to post photos like that.

And re: your post in the thread - you seriously think it's wrong to point out which one is his dad when everyone else in the thread is swooning over how proud he looks?

As old as his tongue, and a little older than his teeth

Good try Kelz :naughty:

OKD - good luck with job application

So I gave up on thinking of 3 things :naughty: But that's because I'm going to go and apply in person everywhere tomorrow. I also went through the newspaper and got a bunch of catalogue/yellow pages delivery things - are they worthwhile things? I tried called them but I have to wait for business hours

Hey OD... you did know that Falls festival is both in Vic an tas didn't you?

And that the Kooks are playing there?

OMG - no! *looks at site again*

Arghhh, it's too earlyyy!

And also - arghhhh I just googled Byron Bay, and why did no one tell me Byron Bay is no where near Sydney? :naughty:

*realises she is the person who posts crap about themselves who no one can understand why they are quoted :fisch:*

:naughty: I just realised you invaded the Aussie thread. I'm proud.

Goodmorning, its way too early to be up on a Sunday and I have been up for an hour already.

I have been reading reading and laughing, have a nice day

OMG! Sundays are for sleepin'

I didn't quote the nightclub analysis, but I'm one of the one's who doesn't drink and probably doesn't socialise.

Actually, I don't drink sometimes when I go out and still socialise.. so there were more examples necessary, but If you forgot all that and get to my point you'll find that 9 out of ten people behave on here as they do/would in a nightclub/pub. Or for the younger crowd, highschool is a close enough example, but it needs to be compared in a particular way.

e.g

1st day of school = shy/outgoing.

6th week at school = has some friends/no friends. etc.

But that's just how I view it.. and everyone might view it differently. Most of us started off shy, some members don't start shy at all and almost "troll" around the forum.

I just think RL social behaviour - when you are "letting your hair down" - is hand in hand with your behaviour on here.

And I have trouble with chitchat in RL, and yep, it's the same on here too. Having said that, is it always worth talking just for the sake of it? And sometimes, people who are merely talking about what they did/are doing that day when it was nothing particularly special, DO get quoted. That always puzzled me.

I try to quote everyone. I try to read what everyone says. I try to interactive with everyone. I'm like that IRL too. But sometimes, I just don't feel like it. It's nothing personal against people. It's just a mood swing for me. MQing is a long and tedious process sometimes :naughty:

And I can imagine you being quiet in a social situation, but if you knew the people well enough you'd certainly be chatty. :thumb_yello:

As for all the over-analysis, I've been enjoying it. As I said in another thread, it's like having some steak to chew on when you've been surrounded by fairy floss. I'll get sick of steak again, but for now it's good.

Hey, I quite often enjoy it too, however, this Mika's Dad thread, to me, is a pointless argument. If you want steak, talk about the real ****-ups happening in the world today.

Good morning/afternoon everyone...... how are we all?

Hey Kelz... you hungover today? :zhhz:

No, Bec. *zhhz* I don't get hangovers because I stay up until I think I'm under .05 :naughty:

hey australia! how r u today?

Hello 1001! how are you?

That's what I think too.

Then again, if you pose for a photo, that is giving consent... and besides, the person who owns the camera owns the photo, so they can do what they like with it...

Yeah, that's true, but at the same time it's nice to check with the person before splashing it on the internet, especially a public forum like this.. However, on myspace or facebook I wouldn't normally ask someone first because I have my photos set to 'friends only can view'.

Yasmine will have to make up her mind... either she has photos with Mika's fans and should expect them to post them on the internet, or not have photos with fans and the problem is solved... can't have it both ways...

True. She seems a bit selective. But I might be the same if I was her :naughty:

And I've never done 7 (well not what I think you're referring to)... chicken?

cluck cluck cluck :roftl:

*Points up* No. :bleh:

Did anyone ever say they thought it acceptable to post pictures they had taken?

Not that I know of and I never implied they did.

That-person-with-the-french-ish-name-who-I-have-only-seen-making-contraversial-posts said (what I interpreted as jokingly) to take pictures of Fortune, but I don't think anyone ever implied they thought it would be okay to post photos like that.

She might've been joking, and Ha! Ha! etc, I find it funny, but the timing was considerably bad for such a joke.

And re: your post in the thread - you seriously think it's wrong to point out which one is his dad when everyone else in the thread is swooning over how proud he looks?

I think it would be wrong to blatantly identify him. There are guidelines for a reason. Until we have proof otherwise or word from Mika that it's ok to post pictures of family members, at least attempt to abide by them.

And they are just GUIDELINES.. Not RULES.. Guidelines are designed to keep things respectful. But, people will still push those boundaries.. I think the boundaires would be well and truly crossed if people were to screencap and perez hilton-style scribble on it who Mika's Dad is. But if people are desperate enough to know, if it's sooo ****en important and they just have to view the footage and work out which one he is, then I'm sure they've got enough information already and that can't be stopped because it's only a guideline based on respect that we are encouraging people to follow.

I just don't want to see any screencaps.

Good try Kelz :naughty:

I know.. WHERE's your HOT bro Silver?? :das:

So I gave up on thinking of 3 things :naughty: But that's because I'm going to go and apply in person everywhere tomorrow. Delivery things??

*realises she is the person who posts crap about themselves who no one can understand why they are quoted :fisch:*

:roftl:

No!! You interact with people so people interact in return with you.

It's when someone only talks about themselves and nothing else that it happens eventually.. I could (but won't) name a few people who used to be on MFC that would do that and they thought everyone hated them. People just got sick of one sided conversations with them. For example, they would never have quoted your above post about yellow pages and asked "delivery things??"
