Kodes100
it may not be much, but on this radio station in montreal, they play 7 most requested songs at 7 p.m. & Mika was #4 with rain on Jan. 26! http://www.rockdetente.com/estrie/musique/votez-pour-le-7-a-7/ you can choose it to keep it in the top 7 It is much Guy! Voted! We, in Canada, have to get as many across the country as we can here & start hitting the radio playlists, chart lists & song requests. We potentially could get Blame It On The Girls some decent airplay & see what happens.
Shine
Voted !!! You know what odd is: On the Pop charts VH1 Rain is on the 9. place almost two weeks every day without any changing. Black Eyed Peas on the first.

I am also really counting on the tour to stimulate sales. This last week was a really low increase - only 13,000 in album sales. I was kind of shocked at that. This last week was a really low increase - only 13,000 in album sales. I was kind of shocked at that. I don't know how accurate these numbers are. They have Justin Bieber's album down as 999K but it went platinum in America a couple of weeks ago. That means he's sold more than 1 million albums in the US alone. He's doing very well in the UK and Canada so sales must be significantly higher than that.
Abbyyy
TBWKTM is being advertised at the top of the Boyzone forum! Wonder if that has been purposely put there because of the single, or just by chance...
suzie
TBWKTM is being advertised at the top of the Boyzone forum! It's probably also run by Universal. This is actually a much better cross-promotion that Justin Bieber advertised on Mikasounds.

Kodes100
Here are Apple Itunes latest updates. Itunes Top Ten Pop Albums Chart: Life In Cartoon Motion - yes LICM. #8 in Luxembourg #8 in Portugal Possibly in the near future during Mika's European Tour we might see LICM & TBWKTM in the Top Ten Pop Albums Chart in the same country at the same time. :thumb_yello: Itunes Top Pop Songs Chart: Rain: #5 in France #9 in Belgium #9 in Spain TBWKTM On the Billboards Charts: #6 on the France Albums Chart #31 on the European Albums Chart Rain on the Billboard Charts: #8 on the france Songs Chart #19 on the European Top 100 Chart I have been getting bits of news that TBWKTM has sold more than WorldWide Albums is reporting - but I can't get any definitive numbers that I can post here - I am still checking. I am really hoping it is true. Some people like Catherine Deveney are saying over 2 million albums sold. Others are saying less than 2 million but well over 1 million. If anybody can find some actual numbers it would be good to post them here.

roxy
Well, in this article they say: "His debut album, Life In Cartoon Motion, sold six million copies and spawned hits Grace Kelly, Big Girl (You Are Beautiful), Lollipop and Relax, Take It Easy. Last year's follow-up album, The Boy Who Knew Too Much, was also a million-seller." http://www.mikafanclub.com/forums/showthread.php?t=21787 Edited February 3, 2010 by roxy

Thanks, it would be cool if you found some updated figures from a reliable source. Mika did mention 8 million albums sold worldwide in a recent interview. It could be a 'slight' exaggaration but most definitely the combined sales of the 2 albums (and perhaps also the singles.. )

If LICM has sold (in total) around 6,000,000, and TBWKTM has sold around 2,000,000, that makes about 8,000,000 in total

I hope you don't think I am being rude suzie - but that is what we are trying to discover. If you read the last seven posts here - the actual numbers available to me indicate TBWKTM has sold 715,500. But there are higher numbers being thrown around "out there." Since I can't find anything specific I am asking if anybody else has some validated numbers indicating that our numbers are too low. I & others here have read enough numbers being thrown about that it suggests TBWKTM might have sold somewhere over a million albums. We would love to know for sure.
