Lui Posted November 5, 2009 Share Posted November 5, 2009 (edited) Mika visitó México la semana pasada, en una visita breve pero fructífera y contundente, en la que realizó varias actividades promocionales, entre las que destacan una visita a Coyoacan acompañado por Reforma y un show acústico mágico y memorable para 40 PrincipPales. Todo inició con una conferencia de prensa muy especial donde tocó 2 canciones a Piano para la prensa, posteriormente ofreció una serie de entrevistas para medios claves: Televisa, Top Magazine, Warp Magazine, Diario Panorama y Globo-Visión (éstos últimos venezolanos). En la noche fue el artista principal de un evento especial de la cadena 40 PP que se llevó a cabo en el Bar Amapola, el cual fue transmitido en Vivo a toda la cadena (¡en 28 ciudades lo escucharon!). Estaba planeado que tocará solo 4 canciones y en la euforia de la noche terminó tocando 9 canciones. Los fans se volvieron locos desde el momento en que Mika pisó el escenario, cantaron cada una de las canciones que interpretó. Las canciones que tocó del Nuevo disco, como ‘Rain’ y ‘Blame It On The Girls’, ya son fuertemente celebradas, siendo el primer sencillo ‘We Are Golden’ ya una favorita de los fans. Después del show hizo un Meet & Greet con sus fans y VIPs de 40 PP. Finalmente, el viernes dio un paseo por Coyoacan para empaparse más de la cultura del Día de Muertos, pues en el show que está preparando para su gira del 2010 (en la cual está incluida México) quiere incluir un acto lleno de personajes y símbolos de esta festividad mexicana, y se dio el tiempo para realizar 3 entrevistas más: E!, Active On TV y Reforma. Según Mika, lo que más admira de esta tradición es el respeto que le tienen los mexicanos a sus difuntos y sobre todo al concepto de la muerte, el cual también está presente en su música. "Desafortunadamente no podré quedarme para estas fiestas, porque debo continuar con la promoción. Ojalá en una segunda visita, pueda conocer mucho más sobre el tema, pues se me hace muy interesante cómo se venera a la muerte y como se juega con ella al mismo tiempo", dijo Mika, quien ofreció una rueda de prensa. El cantante, que por cierto, habla un poco de español, también comentó que es seguidor de la comida mexicana y que en cuanto bajó del avión, se dirigió a un restaurante en donde disfrutó de platillos meramente mexicanos. "Comí plátanos con frijoles, cochinita pibil, nopales con queso y mole con arroz, aunque el mole ya lo conocía desde antes y hasta lo preparo", platicó. Siguiendo con su atracción por lo latino y en especial por lo mexicano, Mika expresó su deseo de grabar en español, aunque, asegura que éste no es un buen momento para hacerlo. "No me gustaría cantar en español por hacerme fama, preferiría que fuera un poco más adelante cuando ya esté listo. Eso sí, si me invitan a colaborar con artistas latinos, claro que aceptaría, me encanta su música y admiro a muchos talentos como Juanes y otros más". Mika, quien vino a presentar su álbum The boy who Knew too Much, hasta se tomó el tiempo de mencionar que sus fans de Centro y Sudamérica estaban un poco molestos porque sólo visitaría a México este año. It all started with a special press conference where he played 2 songs on piano for the press, then offered a series of interviews to key media: Televisa, Top Magazine, Warp Magazine, Diario Panorama and Globo-Vision (the latter Venezuelans). On the night he was the headliner of a special event station 40 PP was carried out in the Amapola Bar, which was broadcast live to the whole chain (as heard in 28 cities!). It was planned that only 4 songs and will play in the euphoria of the night ended up playing 9 songs. The fans went crazy from the moment they stepped on stage Mika sang every song he played. The songs he played the new album, like 'Rain' and 'Blame It On The Girls', and are strongly held, and the first single 'We Are Golden' and a fan favorite. After the show did a Meet & Greet with the fans and VIPs 40 pp. Finally, on Friday gave a tour of Coyoacan to douse most of the culture of Day of the Dead, as in the show that is preparing for his tour in 2010 (which included Mexico) wants to include an action full of characters and symbols this Mexican holiday, and he took the time to make 3 more interviews: E!, Turn On TV and Reform.
