Glee is a TV show where the cast cover different artists songs. They've done Gaga, Madonna, quite a few. The songs are usually given a new lease of life by being on Glee. We're doing the campaign so that Mika's songs get out to a wider audiance, since countries like the USA don't hear him on the radio. The radio stations kind-of collaborated to keep Mika off the air. We know he has many potential fans out there who would love his songs if the could hear them, and would then google Mika himself, and listen to him on YouTube. Then come onto this fanclub and join the enlightened ones on here, and go and see Mika in concert...etc. Well that's the longterm plan anyway. The first step is to get Glee to sing his songs, and since he's not as famous there, through lack of radio-play, we have to get as many folks as possible to tweet @GLEEonFOX and @GleeShouldSing, with our desire to hear Mika's songs on the show. Of course, the ultimate dream would be if HE was on the show, as all the fans of the show would fall for him! But one step at a time. Thank you for your help! I like the response! All they do is keep mentioning Coldplay. Coldplay are great, but all we want to know is if they're going to play, even one song of Mika. I'm gtting a bit sick of @GleeShouldSing keeping on asking what songs they should sing on S3, when most of the requests are for Mika. Besides, by now they should know what songs they will feature in the next season. Are they really connected with @GleeOnFox, or are they just some random GLEE fans taking the you-know-what? There's no excuse for them not to know his songs. Looking at the thread for Mika's music on TV and film, shows that he's been played on shows like American Idol, AGT and he was recently played on the finale of The Good Wife (Any Other World) One reply I got from them, after I tweeted to them that I hoped they'd tell us soon if they would sing Mika, said, basically, "That's why we're asking for requests, but not just requests for MIKA." I got the feeling from that, that theyre sick of us. I wonder if it would be better to ask @GLEEonFOX if we have any hope of hearing a Mika song next season? I suggested LT and WAG. Because I'm wondering if @GleeShould Sing are actually related to @GLEEonFOX, as they don't get that many tweets, apart from Mika requests. They may be genuine, but I think it might be wise for us to also contact @GLEEonFOX, as we know they are the real deal. Maybe if we all send one tweet to them, just to see what happens.
