I always said, if I ever married again, it had to be a red dress But it isn't typically, is it? May I ask why it was a red dress? She always knew that my mother, in war time, had worn a flowery dress and that I, rebelliously in the 70s, had chosen scarlet. When we looked for fabric we found this taffeta which is 'shot' - bright red for the weft and black for warp. It just seemed perfect for the warm and cosy theme. I'm surprised at that cause I'm not really a fan of taffeta but it really worked well! The hair looks awesome too! It really looked like a lovely day.
