Yasi
I may go to this one,but first I have to check some laws here.cause if you are an Iranian and there's a proof on you passport that you've been in Lebanon, you can't go to Europe or America.and I don't want this to happen.I hope the laws have changed since the last time I checked them... Christine
Tell us more , me hungry for romance stories It is no more a romance than anyone around here is having a romance with Mika. He was a musician in the 90s and now he hosts a radio show on CBC. He chats to me on Twitter but when I tell him to have Mika on his show he ignores me. I met him once and he was very nice but I didn't think he would appreciate me nagging him about Mika in real life either so I didn't mention it. Anyway he was born in the UK and raised in Canada but he speaks Farsi and talks about his Iranian heritage and Middle Eastern political and cultural issues a lot. He also has many guests on his show who are involved and knowledgeable so it's refreshing to hear some positive voices instead of the usual Islamiphobia. What's wrong with radio hosts and north american radios in general , are they doing a collective ban on poor Mika ? Nice story anyway , are you still in contact with him ? Middle eastern men , when they are not terrorists , can be very very charming !
Christine
What's wrong with radio hosts and north american radios in general , are they doing a collective ban on poor Mika ? I don't know! I am really disappointed in him to be honest. I thought he would be very pro Mika since Mika is multicultural and multilingual and performs great acoustic sessions which is a regular feature on this radio show. He is a huge proponent of British artists and brags all the time that he was the first person in North America to get Adele on his show. But he also recently had Kate Nash on for example and really she is less successful than Mika in international terms and even in the UK her popularity has faded. He also supports "uncool" Canadian acts (and his own band wasn't exactly a hipster's dream ) so I am really shocked if he's a snob where Mika is concerned. Nice story anyway , are you still in contact with him ? Middle eastern men , when they are not terrorists , can be very very charming ! Um no, not any more than I am "in contact" with Mika. Probably less actually. He is very charming though and has an amazing radio voice so I listen to him every day. Here's a chat he had with Adele if you're interested

Kumazzz
