2014 New Years Resolutions

I hope this thread hasn't already been started and I've missed it?

If anyone still makes a New Years Resolution, what will it be for 2014?

I'm curious about serious resolutions. Things that are attainable and possibly improve either yourself or your community.

I will start...

1. I plan to draw regularly. I am currently drawing one now, but I am going to try and draw with new techniques and mediums to broaden my abilities.

2. I want to try to go out socially more. I'm a bit of a homebody. I go to work and then go home.

3. (This one is weird) I want to try and unclutter my world. I have acquired things (physically and emotionally) that I feel I do not need. I will try to clear them out of my life and lessen my burden.

Now it's your turn, if you wish to contribute.

Happy New Year!

I know it's not the New Year yet, but I have begun accomplishing the first on my list. I finished my drawing of Mika.

Wouw beautiful :thumb_yello: congratulations!

My resolutions...

1/ make my dreams come true: I would like to change my professional life and become an English teacher in primary school. I would like to be a better pianist (I'm a beginner). I have to work daily.

2/ be less scared about what people could think about me and be myself.

3/ be more selfconfident and trust myself (the hardest one I think)

2014 will be the turn of my life and I hope it will be more positive than 2013 :teehee:

In 2014 I will:

1. Get into University so I could become a vet (It's been my dream since I was like 4 or something. It's just so hard...)

2. Go out more and make new friends

3. Play more piano (I've been too lazy...)

4. Be a better owner to my dog (I'm sorry Nyyti I've been busy lately, I know I should always have time for you, no matter what)

5. Be myself, I'm tired to pretend to be someone else (And I really think I'm finally getting there but it's been a long way)

So my 2014 resolutions are:

1-Pass college

2-Pass my music auditions

3-Go to a concert

That's basically it. God knows what I'm going to add throughout the year.

Have a happy New Year my lovely friends and hope that 2014 will be a new start and will be filled with joy for all of you! x

Happy New Year!

Oh interesting! For the third one, the physical stuff, I can recommend you a book, it worked like MAGIC for me :aah: It literally made me jump up and throw away everything I could reach :teehee: It's Karen Kingston, Clear your clutter with Feng Shui, and even if you're not into feng shui it can really be interesting.

GOOD LUCK! I hope this was helpful :aah:

I hope to be able to make more people happy this year and be more kind, it's the only thing I do that makes me feel absolutely right :teehee:

And yeah, finally tidy up my flat , going outside more (the dog is helpful) and generally MOVING :aah:

Plus, I should really finish what I have started, like properly playing the piano finally, finish some stories I started to write and either filling or throwing away the thousand half-full notebooks I have.

Yay, I have a bad conscience already :mf_rosetinted:

by the way. that drawing is more than amazing. woooowwwwww.

I love the drawing!! :)

and my 3 most important resolutions are:

-not care so much about what people may think of me

-spend more time with my family

-and basically be happy and enjoy every second ^^
