Starting April 1, fully vaccinated travellers entering Canada won't have to show proof of a negative COVID-19 test prior to their arrival. The federal government made the announcement on March 17, declaring that the country is entering into a "transition phase" in the pandemic. Passengers might still be subjected to random PCR testing at the airport, and must continue using the ArriveCAN app to enter their proof of vaccination. Yes, I have downloaded the app. You have to fill in various details and you can simply upload the vaccination certificates in the app. I am glad that Canada is simplifying entry, it was still so complicated in February.
