I must admit, I think he at least gets people to think about the issues in the 3rd world.. whether they decide to take action or not is up to them... I personally didn't think that the Live 8 concerts did as much as what they liked to think.. but that's partly cause I think Bob Geldolf is an arsehole... I think he's basically what you described Bono as... Least Bono admits he's an arsehole... I chose MIKA because I always prefered tall men with brown hair and I also love his touch of ambiguity. Sometimes I don't mind the ambiguity (esp when I'm writing fan fics!), but at the moment I prefer someone who quite openly shows off his sexuality, which IMO Mika doesn't...
