I was a 14 year old and was glued to the screen when live aid was on! Cried when Queen played Radio Ga Ga. What an emotional day. Queen WERE live aid, totally stole the show! Well upped their profile! I chickened out of going to see U2 on their 2005 tour. I bought tickets with a good friend, some corporate thing, cost £140, then the day of the concert, was taking a mega panic attack about being crushed on a pitch, so my husband took my place! Daft things that go through your mind when you have 2 young kids, was sure I was gonna die. Ended up, they were REALLY close to the stage in an enclosed bit with LOADS of space! I got about 10 phone calls that night letting me hear them, er, not quite the same thing! Not the right place to be talking U2 I guess, but I have to mention "So Cruel" from Actung Baby, I love that song!
