They had to turn away 100 people in LA for a gig that was taking place the next day and no one even knew where the venue was when they turned up to try to get wristbands. True. So I suggest what we all need to think about right now, is to set REALISTIC expectations and goals about how much money we are willing to spend.I would hate for an MFCer to secure tickets to various gigs around the world, only to not turn up for them and waste a good ticket when someone else could have had the opportunity instead. I think the key word is realistic. Not a happy thought to book hotel and flight and then not be able to get a ticket either. 77red Posted April 27, 2009 Share Posted April 27, 2009 Yes, he really should do that, it's already WEEKS ago that he said the release dates were coming "soon" I have that too actually I think the acoustic gigs will be as the LA gig, I mean that I think we will only know it a couple of days before the gig... Oh, I really hope not. I know I would need more notice than a mere few days to be able to get out of school to go to a gig, especially if it was outside of the state. And I would hate to see someone waiting until Mika comes to their region and not ending up being able to go to one when he doesn't. I'm sure there's a better way to do things... It's at least 3 days of my life I need to plan for and it might be in a month or so and it means securing: - vacation time at work - a babysitter - plane tickets? Driving route? - hotel NEED TO KNOW.
