  1. Well, the one was thin on top, light haired and the other was dark haired and appeared to have a full head of hair from the front. They were really enthralled with the whole show. It was fun to see them (and all the other people) around me having fun and loving it so much. I really like watching the other people around me too...and those guys were really loving it. Everyone was so enthusiastic. I saw ALL ages too....not just teens/young people. There were plenty of people in their 40's and beyond there...which also makes me happy.
  2. There's not much I can add to what Jack and others have said....Jack, you have a wonderful memory for detail!!!! I remember everything but am sort of overwhelmed by the experience when I'm there and can't report it as you do!!! Wonderful Job! Sorry I lost you, Jack...I looked around and didn't see you. I was also outside afterward at the steps waiting for him. I didn't see you outside! The perfomance was FAN-FREAKIN-TASTIC!!!! I was blown away by the DC show---and meeting him afterward. I knew he wasn't well then but he was so good.... But THIS experience was intense and magnified in every way. There were more theatrics (which I love) and he was just so happy. "Happy" really is a poor adjective, but the man just exudes positive, loving, happy energy. Jack called it "glowy" and that's right on the mark. When he sang "How much do you love me" he was absolutely overjoyed that we were singing the chorus along with him. He gives out the love and the crowd gives it back in an amazing fashion...there were times I couldn't hear Mika for the crowd singing along, screaming the words to the songs back at him. My daughter took all the pics I got, plus some video. (I'm SO sorry but these will have to wait for a while to get uploaded. My computer is on the fritz, sent out to dell for repair. I'm on my kid's computer and I can't upload on this one, it's very rudimentary. It's also why I didn't get on last night to talk to you all....so sorry!!!) There was a LOT of eye contact...I had my blinkie heart, and I was holding it up so he could see it....representing MFC ....and I swear he was looking right at me a couple of times. We were about three or four rows of people from the front. And unlike Jack, at times we were crushed by the crowd. I had nice people around me though. There was a couple behind me who were so nice and so into Mika--it was their first time seeing the boy--and although they were guys I didn't mind them getting into my personal space too much 'cause they were so much fun. I made friends with everyone I spoke to...Mika fans are SO awesome. My daughter who was sort of blase about Mika is totally a convert now. Outside the security people were so strict about the cameras, etc. I think they lay down the hard line but Mika always seems to just want to see and talk to people when he can. Now the crowds are getting bigger it just seems normal and necessary for him to have to pull back a bit. There's only one of him and security is an issue. But I'll NEVER forget being in DC and just "hanging out" with him for about 45 mins. After this show we hung out outside with infinite green, her husband, A.Clay and her son in law--- I got to see him, and gave him my t shirt I made. He took it but didn't look at it right then. I had given it to a girl in the front and she gave it too him and pointed back to me. He reached through the crowd and shook my hand. I told him I'd seen him in DC and that was great, but I could tell he felt well this time and the show was phenomenal. He said that they all had a lot of fun doing the show. SIGH.... I left shortly after that....My daughter was frozen and had to go to school in the morning. (although she's off school today...icy out) So I don't know what happened to A.Clay....looking forward to hearing that!!! I'm so happy to have met so many MFC'ers there...YOU GUYS ROCK. xoxoxoxo
  3. Thanks, Deb... I know you'll have a great time in NYC! Wish I could go to BOTH shows....but my hubby already thinks it's a bit much seeing him again already! He's fine with it...although I got a "you never made a tee shirt for me...." comment. LOL! xoxoxo
  4. Wow...I'm sorry you can't come Deb. I'm going to miss you and tootch so much!!!! To ID me....I'm a big girl... he..he... I'll be wearing a brown and orange paisely top. CAN'T WAIT.... I'm def bringing my camera. Got Mika's tee shirt done....will take and post pics later. Hope we get to see Mika after the show, I'm going to be wearing my flashing heart.... But if not I'll still be satisfied, 'cause I got to meet him last time.
  5. Making Mika a t-shirt that says "relax" in stylized and hand painted letters.... Looking forward to seeing all my mikamaniac friends..... WHOO HOO!!!!!
  6. Man, if I'd seen Paul McCartney and Mika in the same place on the same day it would have to be at a hospital, because I would need sedatives!!! Wonderful, Mika...you have such a big heart.
  7. thanks for posting this!!! can't wait to see our boy!!
  8. Sorry, I don't know any hotels there...I've never been to The Electric Factory before, and I'm not familiar with the area. I'm SO looking forward to seeing all of you from the DC concert and making new Mikamaniac friends, too. And, of course, seeing MIKA himself again. Everyone needs to have flashing hearts...if you don't have 'em....get em! I'm planning on bringing my eldest daughter with me. She's 17.
  9. Got my tickets!!! I'll take anyone who is coming by my way. You can't go tootch? How come? You could come and stay with me at my house....Deb, you too! I'm about an hour and fifteen mins away. PM me if you want!
  10. I love SK. And now I loved him even more. He loves MIKA! http://www.ew.com/ew/article/0,,20162677_20164082_20163996_2,00.html
  11. Oh....he is such a handsome man!! Well, I adore the curls and prefer his hair that way. But he looks SO FINE in those pictures. And his clothes are just fabulous!
  12. this video is one of the best things Mika has ever done, in my opinon. It's just so great....it made that old Mika-joy feeling fill my heart when I saw it. LOVE LOVE LOVE it!!!
  13. I think I will have a sheer heart attack if I see Mika singing with Brian. It would be fantastic!! Please oh please someone needs to record this event (no matter who he's with) for us poor saps in the states!!!!
  14. He's not gay or straight. Evidently he's into bear sex.
  15. I've been waiting to hear Mika here for ages. My husband heard him on the radio once--Grace Kelly. A few of my daughter's friends liked Grace Kelly, but didn't really know who Mika was. But everyone who knows me knows who Mika is!!! I know Deb is right, it would be good not to have to see him in huge stadiums/venues...but I really would love the US to be in on Mika Mania. I'd love to see him on billboards, his music all over the place. I'm just so glad I stopped to look at a People magazine in the grocery store one day and saw this young man whom the article said could sing like Freddie. Since then it's been nothing but love and joy!
  16. I saw him in June in DC and I really, really need to see him again.... Please come back to the US!!!
  17. That is the FIRST pic I ever saw of MIKA!!! hee hee.... sigh....
  18. Actually, Mika *was* in People magazine. It's the first place I ever saw him. I don't know when it was....sometime last spring. Between March and April I would say.
  19. I'm all for it! We should be official, I think we are an awesome site, and MFC'ers have shown dedication and love to Mika--he has shown it back.
  20. Mika most definitely has a way with people. I noticed that when I met him. He talks to YOU, it's very personal...just like he remembered that journalist's name. He is magic to talk to....soft spoken, smart, talented, down to earth. Very...sigh....charismatic. Great article, thanks Titania!
  21. Enter!!!! I did. I'd LOVE this...it would be more than awesome!
  22. I'm also devoted to St. Michael. He is God's warrior against the devil! I wish I could see Mont St. Michael. So Mika has St. Michael for a patron saint.
