  9. Hello people! We have one very happy (though previously very absent) Queen Freak here, so I hope you've got your reading glasses on:naughty:!! Last night was without a shadow of a doubt the best night of my entire life! (and I'm sorry if you've already discussed this... but I couldn't find it.) Earlier in the day, my parents told me we were going out for dinner that night and that we were going to see someone very special there! So at about 3pm, I started fretting about what to wear to see this mystery person. We set off a little after 4pm and drove to a place called Sibaye Casino and Entertainment Kingdom. I was nearly jumping out my seat by this point! We made our way to the iZulu theatre at the back of the casino, collected our tickets and went inside. Imgine my joy and delight when I read the ticket and saw the big headline: It's A Kinda Magic!!! Skipping through the build up: The show was completely indescribable! Every detail was perfect, right down to Freddie's "eh-yo" bits (though this crowd was far less responsive than that at Wembley etc.) and throwing his water on the crowd! It was like watching the entire band: Brian, Roger, John and Freddie of course:wub2: right there on stage in front of me!! I nearly cried I was so excited! It was literally a perfect re-inactment of all those live DVDs I have watched and so fastidiously studied! My parents almost had to drag me out when it was over! Then just to top it all off, I happened to run into Peter Freestone afterwards when I scuttled off to the merchandise stand. He was soooo sweet! and when my mum told him about my Queen obsession he laughed and said it was wonderful that people my age could still enjoy the music and carry on the legacy... It was absolutely a dream come true! All those things I've always wanted to do and see... and though it wasn't the real band, it was so close it was frightening!
  10. I know what you mean! I was only 2 months old when he died! But I'm sure that if I had been older and a Queen fan, I would have been soooo depressed when he died:boxed:... I would have gone mad or something! I had to write an oral on him for a project the other night and I was in tears by the end!
  11. The album hasn't even come out here yet! So frustrating! I really want to get it! He's sooo cool!
  12. ummm... 8 I think That's a really hard question... but I'm gonna have to say The Show Must Go On... it's so indescribably beautiful!
  13. Hi guys! Sorry I'm late... had an unexpected visit from my brother and I had to babysit my neice and nephew most of the day! But I'm here now... and clearly not in great demand:naughty:... still 3 posts are better than none... Heya babs! Great to see you back again! It's been a while! 1. hmmm... that's a hard one! Maybe something like Pirates of the Caribbean or even Madagascar. I like too many movies! 2. I really love j'adore... or chanel no5... both very expensive though. 3. Lucky number is 5 or 13 4. No... I hate smoking! It makes everything smell bad! I'm gonna have to say Farrokh:wub2:... only because I'm madly in love with him and not so much with Mika 1. Oh easy one! Orlando Bloom:mf_lustslow: All time favourite! 2. I would love to be a stage actress or a conservationist... gonna have to work out a way to put both together! 3. Autumn. I like chasing leaves. 15. We have a sort of Queer Parade here... In Cape Town... actually its a festival. I found a wonderful picture in a magazine of three guys dressed up as Playboy Bunnies....I love it.... Happens once a year, though I'm not sure of the actual dates...
  16. I love that list! It's really good! I hate to say this... I really hate stereotyping too... but sometimes the people stereotype themselves... I have a friend who is aetheist and gothic and she says things like "well I shouldn't like this but..." or "it's just not how we are supposed to be..." I have other friends just like her too, for different things. Like one who was desperate to be accepted into the indie/alternative rock cirlce, so she forced herself to not like any other kind of music.... It's so frustrating... I can't stand it. It's like, well nobody else is allowed to stereotype you, but you can shun everthing around you because you want to be a typical specimen of....?
  17. and I don't want to miss a thing. Aerosmith - Don't want to Miss a thing Ummm.... Big black boots, long brown hair, she's so sweet with her "get back" stare...
