@Prisca I've never used it before and don't know why is it here but I found it fitting.

@Mikasister The first one is really on point, even the font is the same... Coincidence?

Hi, maybe you could help me with my brainstorming. It's my best friend's birthday in 3 weeks. It's already clear I won't be able to see her. Now I'm thinking about a gift. There are actually only two possibilities - either a "digital" gift or something I can order online and send to her address. A digital gift could be a voucher for example, one that I could buy or I was thinking of a list of things we could do together afterwards and I would invite her (café, ice cream, cinema etc.). That would be nice, on the other hand who knows when it will be possible to realize these plans and maybe I should think of a gift she can enjoy right now in the time of her birthday and not in a few weeks or months... It would be great if I could give her a "personalised" gift, I usually put together things I bought and even something handmade but I don't want to risk going to the post office now so if I send her something, it has to be a thing I can order and she will receive it from the shop directly. What do you think is the best idea? A "physical" surprise or a "digital" gift with a voucher? Or maybe a mixture of both options? Thanks for your ideas!

You don't have to give physical gift atm. It can be dangerous but I prefer digital.
You can make a video of your and your friend's picture with your song? Your and her/him song? It can be nice.
If you want cinema for that day, you can make voicecall and start a movie same time. You can talk about the movie and you can watch together. I always do this with my friend when we want to watch serie together.

2 ideas:
- you can ask other friends to record short wishes for your bday firend and then put all recordings together
- in Poland there is a webside which prepare videos with celebrities or sportsmen wishing ppl happy birthday. You send them pictures and your wishes and they preparing a video. You pay for this but the money goes to charity company. My friend was in heaven seeing her fave footballer wishing her happy birthday. Don't know if you have something similar in Czech?

Bad news: There's a reconstruction in our house so there's a lot of noise lately (drilling etc.).
Good news: Songs like Dear Jealousy, Sanremo, Tomorrow or Platform Ballerinas sound really good when you play them really LOUD.
-
@silver Because normally, I don't play the music so much loud because of the neighbours... But now it doesn't matter anyway.

Good news, I found a hotel room near the venue for a quite reasonable price so I'm going last minute to Bolzano! PS: Only the hotel is probably assuming I'm a man because they keep addressing me Mr. in e-mails (I asked them a question regarding the check-in time), probably because Andrea is a boy name in Italy.

I'm in shock because of the bridge in Genova, me and my family used that bridge several times when we spent our summer in Liguria, our favourite region in Italy, the last time only a month ago... My mother always said the bridge is ugly and was afraid of passing it. I can't believe what happened...

After hearing Dear Jealousy at Sephora once and Ice Cream at Zara a couple of months ago, today I've heard Tomorrow at Peek&Cloppenburg... I guess I should go shopping more often. Fun fact: the last two times this happened to me I was wearing the tote bag from the Revelation Tour.

What a lovely gif! Thank you so much @giraffeandy and @Prisca

It wasn't planned but i somehow started to (re-)watch all Mika concerts this Christmas. I watched Bercy again the night before Christmas and continued with Parc Des Princes yesterday, so I think it's time for Como today, that's maybe my favourite... What's yours?

If you're looking for a show to brighten up your days and you do have Netflix, watch Julie and the Phantoms, believe me, you won't regret it! The series is a bit like a musical and it's so uplifting with a great story, lovely characters and catchy music. I finished it in two days, unfortunately it's quite short... Do you have any recommendations for other uplifting series/movies? I need more right now.
-
@Irem Aytepe Oh yeah, I've totally forgot about that one even though it has been on my list... Thank you!

Shawn Mendes fans may discover Grace Kelly now...

I just got a mail from MFC I could get one ticket for the concert in Bolzano (I entered the competition before and didn't win but apparently there is still one ticket left) and now I don't know what to do as I already had to give up the accomodation and there's a bus arriving at 6pm and leaving at 0:20 but I'm afraid that's too risky and I would spend more time on the bus than in Bolzano... I guess I have to give up the chance even though I'd like to go. I wish it would be different.

Challenge of the day: How many Mika CDs (including bonus CDs, live CDs etc.) can you play in one day?

This is so heartwarming... And there are not enough nice news in these times.

@Paoletta Me too!

A radio station I'm listening to just announced they will play a song by Mika. I sent them Ice Cream weeks ago and they promised to consider it but I'm still expecting Relax or Grace Kelly instead. Then they announced they will talk about ice cream. *gets a little bit excited, maybe there's hope after all* And then they played Grace Kelly...

no why? still Grace Kelly the new single is Ice Cream uff... maybe when the album go out they played this song i hope @giraffeandy don't worry
