The first song that comes to my mind is 'Honestly OK' by Dido. The lyrics still make me shiver.

I think I can make a long long list of emotional songs that still touch me. But I have to find the time to sort it out. I'll keep this thread in mind. :wink2:

Ooooh! Great songs!

Mary - Excuse my ignorance but could you tell me more about Jeff Buckley. I don't think I have ever heard of him.

Jeff Buckley was an american singer. He died in 1997. Only released an album while he was alive ("Grace"), but there are others released after his death.

Here are some links to some of his most famous songs:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k5YmuS5zNzk --> Grace

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4hRSHQjYH_A --> Lover, You Should've Come Over (Live)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vsa_xWLOghg --> His version of "Hallelujah" :wub2:

Hope it helped! :wink2: You can find lots of stuff about him on the internet!

I can recommend you also "Forget Her", "Last Goodbye" and "Everybody Here Wants You". Fantastic songs!

These are my favourites, but please note this is not a 1-2-3 order. Even if I wanted to, I couldn't make a 1-2-3 order list, because it depends so much on my most recent mood.

Mika - Any other world

Mika - Over my shoulder

Queen - Show must go on

Queen - Too much love will kill you

Andrew Lloyd Webber (from The Phantom of the Opera) - Angel of music

Andrew Lloyd Webber (from The Phantom of the Opera) - Wishing you were somehow here again/Wandering child

Andrew Lloyd Webber (from The Phantom of the Opera) - Why have you brought me here?/Raoul I've been there!

Apocaliptica - Nothing else matters (a just instrumental adaptation for the Metallica song)

P.S.: Sorry for the slightly eclectic list, I just tried to be honest and gather everything, though it's impossible.
