Christine Posted October 19, 2007 Share Posted October 19, 2007 and the last line of the last verse, if you look at his mouth movements in the video, i'm quite sure this is not what he sings. could it be sth with "day"? and before that, his mouth moves like "every". like maybe "i love (or loved?) every minute, every day since i was born" or "ever since the day i was born" - but i think there's another word, and i don't hear the "since"... can anyone think of sth else that sounds a bit like this and makes sense? That makes sense to me, and TBH, it seems like he's changing the lyrics a little bit each time he sings them... in the latest video of the song that I saw I heard some very different things, and I don't think it was my ear, I think it was Mika Here's how I'm hearing it now... He didn't give the name when he sang it in Nantes. I should have asked him! I told him the MFCers loved this song but I didn't ask the title. If you watch the video from Bologna, Mika quite clearly says (once you've deciphered and have another listen ) "He's turned to the Holy Father when the mother couldn't show the way."
