Sarahlou1973
There's already a thread for the 17th November, you know, the small matter of a concert by some young whipper-snapper called Mika:biggrin2: BUT.....there are a lot of us travelling up on the Friday from various parts of the UK, Europe and the world, so it would be good to organise something on the Friday night. This thread is to get an idea of who's arriving when and what they would like to do on the Friday. There is a possibility of going for a Chinese buffet, http://www.yumla.co.uk/. It costs £12 per person SCG has been there before and says everyone is so friendly. They have said they can fit us altogether but they need a weeks notice. Whatever we do, we need to know numbers as it will have to be booked in advance, but we'll go with the majority (availability permitting of course!!) If you can let me know, either by PM, or by posting here, I'll update the front page and liase with my Celtic buddies to arrange things..... I'll start off!! 1. dcdeb
tootch and I will be dragging our jet lagged behinds in around 10 a.m. if the flight is on time... I imagine it will take some time for us to go through customs, unless they have us do that when we change planes at Heathrow... So I guess that means we'll be ready to meet up at lunchtime as well, if you're calling noon lunchtime! I'm happy to eat Chinese, Italian, just about anything... so count me in for whatever. Can't speak for tootch, but I'm sure she's easy, too. Well, I mean... easy to get along with, that is! dcde

RAK1
AH! Chinese, my favourite! Rose must have seaweed, because if she doesn't, she's likely to get VERY grumpy and have a MAJOR strop:naughty: Seriouly, I love Chinese food, and I'm VERY partial to the crispy duck, hence the seaweed reference,(in a pancake roll with the duck and a little sauce,UMMMMM!) babspanky
Oh Good lord...Mika Mad on early morning duty! Heaven Help us! I can just imagine her, like an old school matron, going around knocking on the doors of the Travelodge at 8am. 'rise and shine you laggards!' and then if we don't get up, entering the rooms and stripping the covers off our beds. __________________
