chickadee Posted June 9, 2008 Share Posted June 9, 2008 Howdy to anyone that's around atm, Laurel, FD, Robi, anybody else? I keep reading about all this lovely weather... I'm having it a bit more like Robi, cool, overcast, supposed to rain tonight/tomorrow... except that for me it's winter and it's supposed to do that! But as per every winter, it makes me want to bake and so my kids and I have been baking cookies the last couple of days. They don't last long though! robertina Posted June 9, 2008 Share Posted June 9, 2008 sigh...my home pc expired today.a big scary blue windows screen appeared telling me something i cannot understand...but sounds serious! i'm writing from my son's pc, but soon he will kick me off.... so just to inform you that i'll be online in the mornings from work (if the boss is not in!!) and now and then at home (surely not in the evenings...). i don't know how long it will take to my husband to have it repaired....he was very angry today saying that i SURELY did something that i was not supposed to do , with that pc...if he only knew! i hope we can manage something... and soon! in the meantime....i feel very upset. silly, and upset. Beach was HOT but we got to sit by the ocean on Saturday for a few hours, and it was nice -- nice breeze. Only bad thing was my sister-in-law was there still working on the kitchen remodeling project -- so we felt compelled to help with that. Quite a quiet weekend for me - running the girls about for work etc and doing some strimming as the garden and the road edges were getting very overgrown. My sit-on lawnmower refuses to start, so have had to use a battery operated strimmer - so suffering a bit for all the effort - but the garden and road look tidy (for a few weeks!!) My dizziness has returned with a vengance, so doing the exercises to shift it - hopefully before Amsterdam - or I will just look drunk all the time!!! :roftl: Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Have a good time - and don't get too sunburnt!! doing this right now...he's besides me! ok i'm copying all my mikafiles to an external hard disk...then hubby menaces to take my tower to his office where some technicians can repair it...but it may take 15 days!!! ok ale's pc is always here...and maybe i can use it in the evenings...when hubby's away! what i'll miss is skype...debbie, no phone calls for a while.....(let's try msn...) wendi...we will keep in touch for the girls....i'm so waiting for them!
