I feel really bad, I have been one the AMF in the past month, but only just... as I have a hellish school camp last week, so noo internet... or phone reception! I was heart broken. I take it no officialness yet... It's probably like the next Mika tour... awhile to wait don't cha think... or the next album... I have missed all of you (that don't go on MSN or AMF all that much... or possibly do... I'm not entirely sure yet ) And thanks heaps for the PM CD, I felt like crying... I feel very loved And yes school is very difficult lately, I have recentally done 5 national tests in 3 days so my head hurt a little from that, I am trying to go up a grade, among other things, such as the trivial things such as waiting for the shock of "comming out" as "bi" and waiting for my "friends" to not think I'm trying to make a move on them... (I find that kinda funny though) And growing up hates me... But I am prepared to go swimming in a big vat of melted chocolate with JD and my favorite Twilight characters (does anyone read those books? I recentally discovered them and fell in love... They are up and above Harry Potter on the bestseller list, and the first movie is comming out in January for Australia I think) So at the moment relaxing and just chilling out a bit is on my top prorities... meaning I'll be in more... and writing more for the PPR. You have to use fresh beetroot (no OKD, they don't automatically come in a can!) and cook them on the stove until pulpy and can be mashed. I don't have anything against the recipe itself, I just cant' be bothered trying it when I have a fabulous Chocolate Fudge Cake recipe that is so easy to make, tastes divine and if you substitue applesauce for the oil, becomes low fat. Actually, I gave the recipe for the Fudge cake to Soy once. Oi! Soy! (sturker:naughty:) Did you ever try the cake recipe? *looks, shrieks in horror, then faints* Oh, Jols, you still didn't answer one of MY questions... And I'll be in Perth in October for a wedding, so we have a coffee date! Actually, I don't drink coffee and I would say I'll have an iced chocolate instead (don't drink hot chocolate either) but I've quit chocolate. It's been 5 and a 1/2 days so far.... The cake recipe sounds awesome, would love to see it too! And we will def hang out in Oct- how could you possibly give up choc though?? I work my arse off at the gym just so I don't have to give up this vice! Yeah I know. Funny, the first thing we think when we see that news is nothign to do with hearing his music or anything of that sort, it's just TOUR TOUR TOUR - WHEN WILL WE GET A TOUR?? I haven't! *runs off to whine-spam* To be honest, I doubt sednign him a petition is going to make him suddenly decide to work hard and give us an immediate fantastic tour. But it's more for ourselves so we can feel like we've done our best, instead of sitting around whining. Just like I go and put up posters for Milo everywhere and go and look for him in obscure places, even though I know that he was most probably run over by a car on day 1, I just wouldn't be able to live with myself if I didn't. And if we make it brilliant, at least it'll be obvious we love him/are fantastic characters, and may put more effort into us (ie: some kind of afterparty? - but ours would be much more successfull ), nor at least think of us as more than just a foreign market that costs more to tour than it's worth... Okay, so instead of a petition I vote we do a fundraiser with choccies, or whatever, raise enough money for Mika's airfares (and Luke's!) and then we can pick him up at the airport, bring him to the verandah, so besides airfares there are very few additional expenses. Hhhhhmmm ...last year when Mika did 'pop' in here, he was already in South East Asia ... was on a big promo. binge AND Grace Kelly had hit the top 5 in Aussie I-Tunes sooooo .... it made sense to drop in & gauge the scene I guess ..... those of us (& there were only around 7 I think) who were fortunate enough to catch him in Sydney ... only managed it by a hairs breadth anyway ... the 'where & when' was pretty last minute & NONE of us had been members on MFC for anymore than 3 months ... But young Mick Jagger looks exactly like Damien from Ok Go, and has the exact same interview demeanour as Luke from the Kooks Also, 60-year-old bum wiggles are humorous. Our trip into the realms of north-of-the-river was relatively uneventfull. The train from Mandurah continued all the way up Saw a freaking massive Ikea, and had a funny moment when we just about gave up on finding a Subway, even though I remained adament that there would be one, only to spot it just as we were about to go to KFC And - HOLY CRAP!
