sparkly1 Posted June 20, 2008 Share Posted June 20, 2008 I'm a bit confused though: it DOES seem like Francis is mostly answering questions, and it's not like he's been aggressively selling anything--in fact, the last few pages have been talking about the music industry in general and other artists.Don't we have members sometimes posting things like "listen to this new song I wrote" (since we do have musicians among us) or "look at this great thing I did as art/for work/etc"? Is that not allowed either anymore, or is there a difference because Francis' work is commercial (but he doesn't have an album out and he's not asking us to buy anything)? Or is it because he hasn't been a member prior to this? I'm just curious. (Also, I guess I'd like it if Katy Perry posted here. ) --Jack good point I don't really have a problem with it up till now, I don't feel used or bombarded, I was really interested in the insider info on the music industry and sellaband stuff etc. AND HE SAID MIKA'S NEXT ALBUM IS GONNA ROCK so I am uberly excited now. I think catching a few extra fans cant do any harm, it's not like we don't have enough luurrrrve to go around eh. (PS, ooo excitement I am on my way up to my 3000th post!
