I don't understand why anyone would want to spend so much money on all of this stuff to replicate Mika's style

well for me personally I'm not in any way trying to replicate Mika's style I just love some of the things he wears he has a similar style to me!!

Many times I have bought something & found out weeks or months later he has the same thing & I wasn't aware of it at the time of purchasing it

It's almost as if I have a fan forum out there & there's a thread like this where people put links to things i buy & he goes out & buys the stuff I have lol:roftl:

I don't like or want everything he has there's just (for me anyhow) a few things he has that i like & would buy anyhow even if he said he hated the item/s

oh btw all this talk of swatches I've whilst being in Manchester this past few days bought quite a few swatch items (i'm lucky enought to have gotten quite a chunk of money of late) so have been on a swatch shopping spree & also joined the club for the year.

here's the items i got

pila necklace

http://www.buyaswatch.co.uk/proddetail.php?prod=JPD006-U&cat=153&nav=

luludia earrings & bangle

http://www.buyaswatch.co.uk/proddetail.php?prod=JBM029-M&cat=198&nav=

http://www.buyaswatch.co.uk/proddetail.php?prod=JEM017-U&cat=198&nav=

crazy me watch

http://www.buyaswatch.co.uk/proddetail.php?prod=GE211&cat=305&nav=

circus party watch (i reckon we may well see this on Mika in future what do you think? i reckon it's his style)

http://www.buyaswatch.co.uk/proddetail.php?prod=GE209&cat=305&nav=

once again again watch (including one year membership to the club)

http://www.buyaswatch.co.uk/proddetail.php?prod=GZ191&cat=130&nav=

and taloo necklace & ring ( i don't know why it says £150 on the necklace on that site it only cost me £31.50 from the swatch shop)

http://www.shockwatches.co.uk/showdetails.asp?id=2884

http://www.shockwatches.co.uk/showdetails.asp?id=3032

yeah it may well seem like i'm extremelly lucky to be able to buy all these things (and other non swatch stuff too) but I've been incredibly unlucky this week too in the fact that a i've been very very ill & away from home & on the go all the time so unable to relax & recover from my illness & B we had a break in (at my aunts where I'm staying) and my laptop which i've only had approx 10 months was stolen & it had thousands of files & dozens of links in favourites (some files were extremelly important too)

so I may have financially speaking had a good week but it doesn't make up for suffering (yet another) hellish week!

BAD NEWS!!

an email from fuchsia about "don't go breakin' my hearts":

"The bracelet is currently on back order as of this week, so we have sent two of our top buyers to beading markets all over the USA to find similar beads. If they return this weekend with the beads I will send you the order form immediately. If not, its probably best you wait to place an order. I will contact you as soon as our buyers return."

ah well, i'll keep posted if i recieve another email.

Well, a bit like that:wink2:Isn't it beautiful?:wub2:

hmm looks very nice : )

what's the weather like there temperature wise? what's the coldest & warmest it gets? I'd love to one day visit somewhere that isn't scorching hot (as heat makes me weak, groggy & Moody)

Mmmh well it depends where you are. If you're in the Alps, the temperature is obviously quite cold. But where I live for eg (at about 600m), you can get -10 during the winter (though it's quite rare) and you can have 30 during the summer (if you're lucky). Like, these days, we have about 20... Switzerland is not a warm country and it's often cloudy. But if you don't like too hot weather, Switzerland is the right place for you!!:thumb_yello::wink2:

Well, Switzerland is a small country, so the best you could do is find a place to stay at night (Basel is a really nice city and I guess not TOO expensive. What's more, there's the Euro-airport and you can get really cheap flights with Easy-Jet (from London)!).

Then, in Switzerland you really NEED a train ticket. You can get tickets to travel in the whole country for 4, 8, 15 days or one month (they're quite expensive, but it's really worth it!). Once you have your train ticket, you can go everywhere! And if I'm not mistaken, you can also take the ship with those tickets. And of course, you can take the bus and all the public transports!!!:)

Cities I recommend: Bern* (the capital city), Neuchâtel (it's where I study ^^), Thun, Basel*, Lucerne*, Zürich, Geneva*, Lausanne, Montreux* (if you're a Queen fan, you really HAVE to go there:wink2:), Fribourg*, St-Gall, Lugano* (in Tessin, the Italian part) ... They are all nice cities - towns. The ones with a star are the ones I like the most. Well, I think you have enough lool.

Then you can go in the Alps. In Valais or in the Bern Alps (they're both really nice). You can go in Grindelwald, it's really beautiful! (in the Bern Alps). And you can go and see the Cervin (Matterhorn) in Zermatt (Canton Valais). I have never seen it, but I really want to!:wink2:

Here is a website where you can find more info: http://www.myswitzerland.com/fr.cfm/home

Stuff you need to know:wink2:: It's a quite expensive country, specially for tourists lool. But as an English girl, I don't think it'll be much of a problem for you:naughty:.

If you're worried about the language, please don't! Speak English, it's easier. Here in Switzerland, most people speak Swiss-German (Schwiizerdütsch eheh), some people speak French (like me:punk:) and a minority of people speak Italian (in the Canton of Tessin).

As for the train tickets (it's really necessary), you can get them in every rail station.

If you have more questions, I'll be more that happy to answer!! (I feel like a travel agent lool)
