I was member there too, (I think I registered there first), but l stopped going there in spring 2007 as it really became infantile.... I also recently noticed the old members are still using the forum that is not well structured at all... PS: old posts are deleted (in fact, they were deleted in early 2007 already), you won't get any decent info from there. A bientot, Bianca xx She was probably just being impulsive there. I wouldn't be surprised if she felt sorry for it already. I think it is a bit difficult. We've been here for a while now, but not every fan has studied Mika's interviews up to a point where you know them by heart. Populist and approachable as he is, some might draw their own conclusions. Same with people touching him during the stage invasion business. I think he can live with it. Otherwise he could just stop that, easily. He's in control. There have also been witch hunts on MFC and I saw the exact same thing happen here after the stage invasion in London over a woman who hugged him. I saw footage recently taken from another angle and Mika CLEARLY embraced her when she went to give him a quick hug in a manner that dozens of other fans have done over the years. Yet I saw people here carry on for pages about this totally innocent woman as if she'd attacked Mika and made him so angry he wasn't receptive to fans later. And Mika used to post there too, so it was a small place, with people who were getting to know a new artist. I remember we were all excited to hear the album. The problem was that there was hardly any mods, and anyone actually posted new stuff there, and because of that most of the users lost the interest in that forum. Specially with the MFC, that has new threads and all everyday. Of course we, MS users, could go there and post the stuff, but where do we get them? Mostly here, on MFC... No point in having the same stuff in 2 different forums, IMHO. I thought that MS forum would be "back to life" with Mika's new website, but apparently everyone forgot that place, there's not even a mod now. It's a bit sad because lots of people made new friendships, solid ones, there. For me, it was the first place where I had the chance to talk about Mika... But the show must go on. Until someone closes down that place, I'll keep my account there active! He was very helpful and enthusiastic....(shame all old posts are deleted now:emot-sad:) The problem was that there was hardly any mods, and anyone actually posted new stuff there, and because of that most of the users lost the interest in that forum. ...I think there was only one workng part time only... I did send him suggestions on how to group the threads so that the forum has a kind of structure and on other things as well but I had the feeling he simply did not care at all... so I also gave up, especially after the 8 year olds arrived.... Thanks for sharing your memories with us... I would have thought it was more exciting in 2006 judging by the early memberlist wth usernames like Sarastro()and the likes... I only joined in early 2007 and week after week I noticed the gradual change as I was following people's taste in music...First (mainly in 2006 ) it was rather alternative and loads of Queen fans, of course, but later on more and more fans of boy bands came and somehow it got all weird... I think I even posted once something like 'where have all the Morrisey fans gone? ' ...Silly memories... I think I will go back just once more and try to save my posts before they all get deleted.
