I mean, it's definitely a more sexy image for Mika but not like some of those R & B vids which are verging on soft porn. He goofs around which makes his sexiness much less aggressive and 'intimidating' (and it shows he doesn't take himself too seriously which I love about him ). The slo-mo version is just so thank you so much for that!! I need to lie down in a darkened room now....but not before I've watched it again... I think he was teasing. And I totally agree with you! I would most definitely not classify them as sexy, as opposed to Mika's WAG.. () Therefore, I partly 'understand' why the idea of censorship came up. Mika is sexy without trying to look sexy... it is hard to define where the line should be drawn because in this case you cannot measure it with the percentage of flesh shown... I personally don't think it should be censored (if I take this as the non-censored version:teehee:) because you only get the references if you are a bit more grown up anyway, so no danger to kids. I usually don't care at all about videos and the only videos I ever really liked from Mika were Relax and Lollipop, but this one works so well with the song that I hope he will keep working with this director. This video contains lots of the 1980s spirit or characteristics: the neon or bright colours, the typical video tape recorder everybody owned, a reference to the Blues Brothers (Mika wearing black hat and sunglasses) or Mr T (large gold necklace), the Disco years (glittery, golden shoes or jacket), the reference to young Tom Cruise in his undies in one of his films, the Statue of Liberty/ Star Wars-ish ... If you have BS player and keep your finger pushing the "P" button all the way though the video, you'll get screencaps of each second of the vid, the problem is that it captures it at it's original size which is pretty small, like the gifs you've made.
