I allready caught myself picking away tear a few times when he hits that high note "looove, LOOOOOOOOVVVEEEE!!" :naughty: It's just so beautiful, my absolutely fave!

That's my favorite part too! Love it!

It's just a shame I can't sing along with it, it's a little bit (understatement) to high. I really can't sing; but that's not the point. I love Mika singing it :wub2:

Show off!! :naughty::naughty::naughty:

No no no!! You misunderstand lol!! There's no way I'm saying I'm brilliant because I'm not :roftl::roftl:

I'm just saying I find those songs easiest to sing...:dunno:

I find touches you quite difficult in the chorus :naughty:

Not soppy at all! I think I know what you mean. I'm a sucker for sad/emotional songs.

On Monday at the Toronto gig, I was so happy that he was playing Happy Ending, but songs like Happy Ending and Pick Up Off the Floor just kind of command the audience to shut up and listen (and sing along at the appropriate parts). It's wonderful how music can just take ahold of your emotions like that, and Mika is great at it!

Does anyone else find it rude when a few people are shouting throughout slow, emotional songs, while everybody is listening and the performer, whoever they are, is putting their heart into their song?

Yes, it makes me slightly crazy. That's why I loved the summer acoustic tour; in Amsterdam and Brussels especially, everyone STFU and listened, even to Over My Shoulder. Was great. :wub2:

I must admit I cried when he sang those songs, :sad:

this song evokes feeling of sepia rainy morning. I feel shivering even when I sing it in my head. He's genius, really he is...

But strangely it reminds me of Moulen Rouge's song - the beginning of Nature Boy (there was a boy... and so on) - the music is melancholy and heart breaking.

All I can say, i "feel" the music of this song as something from my past life. :sad:

The violins at the beginning sound like I have heard the melody before.... Will take me 20 years before I find out what, though:teehee:

You know, there are many Mika's songs that after the first listening seemed to me I've known them for all of my life. And they just imprint in my mind.
