clownfish Posted October 21, 2009 Share Posted October 21, 2009 The show was really awesome. It was my first Mika show, and the Chicago crowd was fantastic. I think we impressed him. I was first row in the balcony, which is actually a fantastic view of the stage, and everyone on the floor looked like they were on pogo sticks. Good job down there! I was impressed with everything, but most of all by how much energy he must have to get through such a high energy show and sing through the whole thing with practically no pause. leonita Posted October 21, 2009 Share Posted October 21, 2009 just got home- AMAZING show! we waited out in the rain, he finally came out, he signed my Songs for Sorrows book & I gave him the big gold banner we were working on all day (which said MFC, we were represented, they hung it on the barrier for us during the show!)! then after he got on the bus, the security guard sold me the umbrella they were holding over his head for $20!!! Glad you had a great time, and nice one with the banner. hi Rose! he was wearing that nice navy peacoat-type coat, was so soft-spoken and generous, signed for everyone, then got on his bus... this after we were told he had a 50 person meet & greet for a radio station. I'm wondering- what station? they don't play him on the radio here!! I took a few photos, not during the show, (but I accidentally got some of backstage before the show) I'm transferring them now.
