Personally, I find this article totally offensive!

Having watched 2 people I loved deeply die of cancer, to use it as a tool to take the rise out of anyone, is poor taste and shows the person who wrote it, has absolutely no regard for the feelings of anyone who has gone through the painful experience.

Sorry, I DON'T see how anyone can find it remotely amusing.

This article is a joke but it's really fun:roftl:

The Dailymash it's news to us

MIKA'S VOICE CAN CURE CANCER, SAY DOCS

30-11-09

A PATIENT suffering from colon cancer has become the first to have their tumour destroyed by Mika's voice, it was confirmed last night.

An excruciatingly painful course of MikaSpecialists played songs from the singer's last album Let Me Annoy the **** Out of You through an ultrasound device until the cancer cells started imploding violently.

Oncologist Professor Bill McKay said: "The glass-cutting falsetto on Happy Clappy Bellend and I Love Boys (But Not In That Way) were most effective in reversing the tumour's growth.

"The intense pitch and frequency of the noise irritated the cancer cells until they effectively started to commit suicide.

"Indeed a member of the surgical team had to be replaced half way through the procedure after he tried to saw his own head off."

He added: "It seems that Mika's voice is a bit like intensive radiation therapy, in the sense that it induces copious projectile vomiting and makes all your teeth fall out."

Meanwhile scientists at the Large Hadron Collider in Switzerland are to conduct a series of experiments in a bid to capture the energy released by incredibly annoying music.

Dr Tom Logan said: "We're going to mix Morrissey's Suedehead with REM's Shiny Happy People. The only downside is that it may cause a molecular paradox that will unravel the very fabric of the cosmos.

"Of course in the process it will also unravel the very fabric of Mika, but isn't that what we all want?"

I'm afraid I fail to see the funny part of this article... :boxed:

I don't see how making fun of a singer, no matter who he/she/it might be, using such a painful and deadly disease as cancer may be funny to anyone...

Shame on who wrote it, and Sephira, don't take it too personally but you should think a bit before opening threads with such cruel contents' reviews like this..

It's not funny to joke about sickness!!!

If this person only knew what people have to put through he'd never use this to "sound funny"...

Too bad Mika's voice can't cure idiots

the world would be better place to live, like Michael used to say :thumb_yello:

ohh where's picture 2 from? is it recent? I like it:wub2:

I agree that this thing is totally rediculous & insulting we just have to let it blow over our heads though as annoying & frustrating as it is you can't talk to idiots & make them see they're being vile & nasty if they're that stupid to write such a thing they're too stupid to get angry with as they won't understand what's wrong!

Why doesn’t anyone close this thread once and for all? :boxed:

I don’t really care, do as you may, but I find it shameful, just the title of it, so disgusting…

I agree...:thumb_yello:

If no one is against, would you please mods close this thread...

Just the title showing up whenever someone posts is very unpleasant...:boxed:

IMO, of course...

We've actually had worse reviews so far.

It made me think of the joke about Mika at the dentist's singing the beginning of Relax instead of saying "ouch". :teehee:

Do you remember when he went to the dentist's after sort of decades? :roftl:

The edentulous pop tart! :lmao:

Sorry, I'm tired tonight. :fish:

If my memory serves me well, i started that joke...

Dental problems are not an issue compared to this...

What bothers me here it's not that it is a bad review, we've been there, seen that, ok, i can take those...

The disgusting fact here is that this moron who states himself as a WRITER is using cancer to make a joke and if truth matters i have had so many people around me suffering and dying from that i find it not just bad taste, it's cruel, stupid and disrespectful to whoever suffered or saw other suffer from it...

And i honestly would like to see this thread closed as it is not adding anything good or pedagogic to this forum...
