I've been in that Homebase in Earls Court :biggrin2:

And I love the ducks quote

"What animal would you most like to be?

A duck. When I was a child I was obsessed with them. They get fed, they don't have money problems and they go on holiday for free in big groups of friends."

:roftl::roftl::roftl:

Thanks for posting !! :thumb_yello:

Oh, how could i waste such an image...:mf_rosetinted:

Good morning to you Carla.

Thank you for my "first" spit-up of coffee this fine day.:roftl::roftl:

I should know better than to read one of your posts so early in the morning or with a drink at my lips.

Luv ya anyway Carla!:roftl::roftl:

:biggrin2:

he's entitled to a drawn sword as well :mf_rosetinted:

And to be very pedantic - that is tower bridge.

This is London bridge

It is a common error :original:

What is the difference between a normal sword and a drawn sword?:blink:

I'm a common person...:naughty:

Nevermind, he's got free time, he'll herd his sheep in both places...:lmfao:

They are close to each other - he can keep looping the sheep round the bridges until he gets fed up :biggrin2: And then he can go round in the opposite direction :roftl:

btw, why does mika love to buy bits of wood, what does he do with all that wood? :blink::roftl: ok, he might throw it in his fireplace - but the way it sounds, that wood has sth to do with DIY, so it's not really meant for the fireplace, or did i get that wrong? :blink:

I can't believe nobody's said this yet but...

I think Mika is at his happiest when he's got wood.

OFF TO THE NC WITH YOU!!!

Ha ha!!!

Do Homebase still have Laura Ashley furnishings in them?

I would imagine that might get his attention. They did nice white/cream sofas.

I am so not touching that.:blush-anim-cl::teehee::shocked::blink::sneaky2::wink2::wink2:

Well I guess I sort of did.:roftl::roftl:

You're not gonna touch it? I bet he's well upset. :naughty:

I'm sure there are plenty of directions to go with that. I mean, you get different types of wood as well, like softwood and hardwood and I'mma stay away from that or I'll get banned. :roftl:

I'm already there. :mf_rosetinted:

Err I think they still have Laura Ashleys there, though I've seen a few independant Laura Ashley shops so maybe they broke away from Homebase. I'm sure he'd love all the soft fabrics.

I think the tie-in with Laura Ashley was ended a few years ago :sad:

There's a good Laura Ashley Home near Kinightsbridge which isn't too far from him.

I've passed that a few times, nice to look into when I'm stuck in the traffic.

I noticed along there too, there is a Smallbone of Devizes kitchen shop. I 've been into their workshop/showroom a few times down here, it's not far from me here.

Ha! Same here! I'm still in awe :bow: When I grow up I want to be as fearless as Bab!

-This is the bus lane.

-Yeah, I see.

:lmfao: She's a classic

What, like after Graham Norton? :lmfao:

Like, every second week (or month) :roftl:

Yeah you should have stayed for dinner, it was really nice...

It was really nice, for sure :thumb_yello:

I'm sorry I live in Essex lol :aah:

No seriously, I wish I lived closer to London.

Or IN London...I wanted to stay :(

Nice end to the evening though eh, with that creepy man banging on about trains in South Africa or whatever the hell he was on about :aah:

I also technically live in Surrey, although I am also part of the London Transport Zones and at the same time a Borough of London :freak: I don't get all that jazz :insane:

That's really cool, very hippy style :thumb_yello::naughty:. I love it when people don't do the "normal" thing for weddings.

They used to make beautiful dresses in the 80's. And great suits for work - always very feminine but still smart and lovely material. They have lost their way badly now, trying to be fashionable and cheap instead of distinctive & quality :sad:
