I like that there are some wider ranging opinions on the song. Too bad that people hate it because it's Mika, and not because they think it's crap. He's a big boy now, I don't think he needs a bunch of fangurls to defend him. Besides, half the time, people say crap about Mika to piss the fans off. Last I checked, 26 is young! if he's old, then so am I! That was a good post! Love it! fair enough... and I guess 80 is prehistoric.... At least you still have a few years before you get old. I feel like I've wasted my 26 years... soon enough, I'll be considered too old to do anything! I've got behind on this thread and will read back tonight I think Mika would like the idea of a band of muilticoloured fans wnating to spring to his defence- and like me, would love the way the person you quoted put it- though I agree that he doesn't need us to actually do anything I've had a few "big birthdays" in my time- I'm 48 and certainly don't think I'm middle aged- but the only one that really got to me was 25. Because I don't agree with you! Being young isn't your defining characteristic like it was when you were a teenager But I'm more aware of having plenty of time to do things now than when I was your age. Lets face it- it's 20 years now before I draw my pension. I don't think many people ever feel older than about 17. Sounds like non-MFCers are gonna have the problem I had with the deeply cheesy Sclub7. Whenever one of their songs came on when I was out, I'd say "Oh, I like this what is it? Ah..... goodness, they're dreadful, though I must admit I like this current single... and their previous one, I guess... what? oh yeah, the one before that was pretty good too..." That would explain why it's not on the radio yet. I've also seen trailers for the movie on UKTV, but not with Mika's song, with another song. I really hope his song gets played soon. But the film is out on the 26th, and surely it'll be played at the end of the film, like most songs for films. e.g Avril Lavigne's Alice for Alice in Wonderland (sorry only example I could think of). I just don't see why the single wouldn't be released alongside the film..."/ Why bring the video out, when it's not out for another two months. The same happened for BIOTG, the video was premiered on music channels last year, then didn't come out till this year... I hope this doesn't affect the single's sales...
