And here is the translation:

Mika in Morocco: the great moment of Mawazine 2010!!

I'll spare you the preliminaries on the first part of the show and all that, because believe me, it was not worth the effort!

The lights went out around 22:30, leaving a silence punctuated by some Mika! launched by a public already impatient. Mika, who swaped his fluorescent t-shirt and red skinny jeans against a white and blue tail-coat and black and sober trousers, appeared on his, now classic hit Relax, full of energy, together with deux lovely ladies, straight come out from a children's book, and some musicians, leaving the bulk of the empty stage, except a huge cylinder leaning toward the public ... I thought it certainly was to leave space to our hyperactive artist, but I was not out of my surprises yet! (not sure of the translation :dunno:)

Hits have followed each other, mainly from the first album, most often in different versions with amazing intros ... Mika told us the stories of these characters that have long made his fame among the story of Billy Brown, who leaved his lover and his family to live on an island in Mexico and Dr. John, who told the happy days he had left behind him on a stool at the back of a bar. I was surprised to realize that the audience knew every song by heart, and it made me happy!

Mika was at the peak of his vocal performances and gave an energy that I have rarely seen. But if this young artist is amazing when he sings, her concert is also a pleasure for the eyes. Between the giant dolls depicting his songs and parades of characters referring to his childish world, Mika proposed a show as convincing vocally than visually.

The show was punctuated by songs that stood out from the others as Rain in an electro version embellished with epic violins which give us chills, or We Are Golden that the whole audience was singing in an enthusiasm worthy of the greatest hymns. Mika bet more on his catchy songs, which means, apart from Happy Ending, there was no melancholy (???? or maybe sadness) in this show but only strong colors and emotions.

In summary, Mika came out of his bag seven tracks from the first album and the singles from the second, which made the happiness of 20,000 people this evening. The show lasted half past one, which unfortunately was not sufficient for him to sing few songs that I would have wanted to find live, as Toy Boy or I See You. The show ended with Lollipop and Kick-Ass who made more than a shiver. In short, I can tell you that Mika at Mawazine was undoubtedly THE show of the year in Morocco! :wub2:

THIS IS GREAT, ISN'T IT? :thumb_yello:

Yeah! Sounds angry :naughty: I freakin' love it, and think it works better than the album version when it's live. The album version has some sort of creepy quality to it, something quite haunting yet still danceable and catchy. The live version is a full on club version IMO :aah: I wonder how Rain would have faired if THAT version was released and not the album one...

I bet it would've had the same effect as "Relax" had for listeners of such type of music. You know, if you tell someone that Mika's the guy who sings "GK" they won't know about it...if you start humming Relax they immediately do.

I simply can't get enough of this version of rain...and it's not even my type. :roftl:

I found that well but apparently everybody hasn't the same opinion :teehee: but the most important is that everybody appreciated Mika :pinkbow:
