After years I finally know the difference between Who and Whom!! :aah:

Good job, Blanca! :hi5:

You better know the difference between than and then because when people screw that up it always annoys me :hair: Also, when people say "anyways".

"Anyways" isn't a word, its "anyway"! :aah:

I remember it this way, if the answer is He, you use Who. If the answer is Him, you use Whom :aah:

uuh that's not very clear XD

I read it at a spanish blog :aah:

For example, Who/whom sent the roses? the answer is He, so we use Who.

To who/whom should I address this letter? the answer is To Him, so we use Whom, I don't know if I explain it very well :aah: if not...CAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT!! :aah::aah:

You use 'who' when its the subject of the sentence, like:

Who is your best friend?

Whom is used when there is already a subject to the sentence, and it always comes after a preposition (examples of prepositions are by, with, to, on, in, etc.) Example sentence:

To whom is the letter addressed to?

'The letter' is the subject of the sentence and 'whom' came after the preposition 'to'. Does that make sense? :aah:
