I don't know if there is already a general thread about this:

I think it would be good to have a list of the most important radio stations in every country where Boum Boum Boum is available, with a way to contact them.

So it will be possible for people who have time and want to do it, to contact the radios in order to ask for BBB to be played on it more often.

I think the more it's played on radio, the more people will buy the single :thumb_yello:

We decided to do it with some French fans, but I think that fans of other countries are doing that also, so maybe it would be good to have a recap for every country here :thumb_yello:

So if you have time you can contact every radio in every country :teehee:

Or you can write it in english "please can you play Mika's( he is british singer) new single?It's called Boum boum boum. Thank you!

Thanks! I don't have much time now to make a research of Russian radio stations. I'll try this weekend! The problem is I don't listen to the radio :doh:

Well, Radio Creme brulee has been a huge supporter of Mika, but they won't play BBB, they told me it didn't fit in their format:sneaky2:

Melanie, I looked through this list: http://www.russianinternet.com/radio/, the most of the stations have wrong format. I mean, they play only Russian music, only dance pop (remixes are possible), only music from 90th or rock-music and so on. Some dooesn't have a connection with the public.

 

So, I suggest to leave in a list Europa Plus. We also can add Love Radio, at least they played Undewater. This is their form for coctacts (questions): http://www.loveradio.ru/contacts.htm. FB page https://www.facebook.com/LoveRadioRu and Twitter https://twitter.com/LoveRadioRu.

 

I wrote to Europa Plus today (some Russian fans did as well) and will write to Love Radio too :)

Interestingly, I got an email from Spotify today telling me that Boum Boum Boum was there now. I guess they could see Mika was about all I played on Spotify. :naughty:

 

 

 

I tweeted Seth Meyers' show last week as soon as I saw they had booked Stromae. I figured if they were going to take a chance on him, maybe they'd be interested in Mika as well. I was so curious to see what Stromae would do last night -- when I heard him singing Papaoutai in French and saw the subtitles I was ecstatic! Like you, I thought that perhaps there would be hope for Mika! So maybe we all need to write/tweet the show again and again! :)

One of Mika's contestants on the Voice did Papaoutai, right? And did one do Tous les memes? Or was Stromae on the show himself? I know I saw a pic of them together. :blink:

 

Stromae was in Montreal this week and he mentionned in an interview the subtitles were his idea, not the show's :wink2:

 

His thinking was: why not make life easier for everyone?

 

He also mentionned he has not intention of singing in English...

 

I see several articles on him from english-speaking sources so I think there a wind of change coming up... At least it's my perception. :wink2:

Well, belgian radios are responding pretty well.

 

I had an answer today from Q Music, a flemish radio who told me they will launch Boum boum boum tonight (I don't know what time though).

 

And Vivacité, a french speaking radio said they will transfer the message to the programmation desk!
