It is therefore an exceptional show that will wait for 80 000 spectators at the end of the final, since the author of "Relax" or "Love today" will resume half a dozen of his biggest tubes, surrounded of his musicians and dancers, for a show in the shape of an apotheosis. On a apporté tellement d'attention à chaque détail. Google translator Spoiler Mika: "Every artist dreams of singing at the Stade de France"The singer and coach of "The Voice" gives some details on the show he will give this Saturday night after the final of the top 14 rugby. His first concert at the Stade de France. It's beautiful a stadium at night. Especially when it is Mika who illuminates the Stade de France. It is a little over an hour in the morning, this Saturday, and the singer puts an end to the rehearsals of the show he will give tonight in Saint-Denis after the confrontation between the Castres Olympique and Montpellier in the final of the top 14 ( from 20h35 on France 2), the championship of France rugby. A first for him as for the National Rugby League, who wanted to hit hard after last year's successful test with DJ The Avener. After four hours of painstaking preparations, Mika spoke to us exclusively about this "magical" experience that will probably mark the history of rugby. And his.You sing for the first time at the Stade de France. What effect does that have?MIKA. What an emotion when you enter the Stade de France for the first time through the tunnel! It's impressive, it's an incredible place. We created a special stage for tonight and when I'm in the middle of the lawn, all the chairs look at me, it's a hallucinating sensation. It's a huge privilege, I'm delighted to be here.Do you like stadiums? There is something magical about stadiums. I already had the chance to sing at the Parc des Princes. Even empty are sacred places. There is a kind of ceremony. This is the first time I have the right to climb on the lawn. The most important thing is the match on Saturday, we will arrive after. And thankfully, because we will be able to dance on the lawn without them scolding us.This is a real concert that you will give?I can not say too much, but it will last almost 24 minutes, there are 65 dancers, a team of more than 100 people. It's been three months since I worked on it, there is not a single detail that has escaped me. I called many friends to help me prepare for this ambitious show. It's a very intense collaboration. It's been two weeks since we've been in the studio adding sound effects to make this experience truly magical. Some details on the stage ...It's a stadium scene, it weighs 3.5 tons and is 35 meters wide, bigger than the Superbowl stage. Except that it does not go up in 9 or 12 hours like a normal concert, but in 20 minutes after the end of the match! It's a challenge we all love. I accepted because I thought it would be beautiful in a place I love and in a city that I love. I also find the intensity of the show "Paris je t'aime" (note: May 27, 2016 at the AccorHotels Arena) which was a little similar in the intensity of work. It had been created for one night, it was a kind of love letter in Paris (note: five months after the attacks). Why did you accept this new challenge?Yes, it is a huge challenge to do a performance with an audience that is not mine and to quickly transport it to another world, another universe. We must know what we are doing. I hope this will work in the stadium and also of course with the audience at home, because the concert will be broadcast on Canal + and a little France 2.You want to dance ...My audience in general has to work, I want him to dance, I want him to sing. But frankly, when you see the show light, it makes you want. This public rugby, Paris, Montpellier, Castres, this audience will be transformed not only into a chorus of 80 to 90 000 people but also in 90 000 stars. Look tomorrow night, you'll understand why.Do you like rugby? It's something special. It affects all kinds of people. I grew up in the English education system and rugby is very important. But I was never strong enough to play in the teams, no one selected me (laughs). In England, there is something they call baptism. The first time you play rugby with guys, they put you lying in the mud, face in the mud. After this experience, I thought that rugby might not be for my physical strength. And today I find myself on one of the most beautiful rugby lawns in the world, invited by the national rugby league. I really did not expect it and it's quite bluffing. This makes you want to come back to sing at the Stade de France?Doing my show here, yes, of course, it's a dream, but I think any artist dreams of singing here. At the same time, already, I think we have done something good, I hope we will watch this performance without thinking that it is happening around a sporting event. So much attention has been paid to every detail. The rugby league has been very patient with me. Edited June 2, 2018 by Kumazzz
