Mika @ Umbria Jazz Festival, Perugia, Italy

Hi everyone

Any pre/post-concert gathering organized?

Also, this is my first Mika concert (was supposed to attend the Magic Piano Tour in Milan last year ) and I have a question: I see that he often gets gifts from fans during his events, how does it work if I want to give him something?

Hi Camilla!  So far we don't have any particular plans yet, but if we do, we'll discuss them in the pre-gig thread:

I think several fans will be also going to the Cattolica gig, and will be arriving in Perugia some time on Sunday.

As for the gifts, it depends... some fans throw items on stage that he wears, but he usually doesn't keep those. When he meets fans after the show, it's often possible to give him gifts, but he usually doesn't come out after shows in Italy, probably because it can get really crazy. Who knows though, he used to do it in the past, until 2012 or so... Anyway, to make sure he gets a gift, it usually is sent to his dressing room. If or how they do that depends on the staff who is there. Maybe you can call the festival organizers or the venue and ask how you'd best do that?
