So I met Danika at Liverpool street and we walked to the address that we were given. We arrived there at about 10:30 and Rose was already there along with Stephanie and I believe Sophie? Agatha was there too and Babs arrived shortly after. It was like an old fashioned London alleyway to be honest and I thought "What a place for Mika to choose :aah:" and it was the in the shade as well so it was a bit nippy! Dan, Babs and I went to a little shop down the road to get some food and when we came back to it there was a Brazilian lady there whose name I forget :blush-anim-cl: Olga was there, and Tiibet, Sara arrived and more. There was also a lovely nice Italian lady who joined this forum either late last night or earlier today! We told her to xD Rose got the flag out but by the time (I'M DREEEAAAAMING :roftl:) she got it out the ice cream van arrived at about 11.

We were all wondering if it was the right one and why on Earth it was there so early, so we went to check it out. Turns out it was! So we formed a bit of a crowd/queue and as time passed more people came (like katie/kt4mika) and then security turned up and Ian was there, so was John, and so was this super duper lovely guy named Ross.

Ross is a tallish 21year olf guy with dark hair and is Mika's Assistant Manager (I didn't know this at the time) and he was putting up all these posters of WE ARE GOLDEN around the area. Unfortunately he only had Blue Tac and it was rather windy so they kept falling down :aah:

So I often jumped out of the queue to put them up and Ross would come back to help and say thanks. We ended up having a small chat, swapping names and I said I was from the MFC. And he reads the forum by the way, so if you're reading Ross, hello! :aah:

I told him I submitted my video for the WAG contest but he didn't really know that much about it as it wasn't his area.

So, 12:30 strolled by and no sign of Mika, Rose and I were tutting :naughty:

Mika came late - surprise surprise - in a lovely outfit with blue braces at about 1pm (actually Rose went on Twitter cos she was about the ask him where he was xD but saw that he tweeted he was on his way and that he did that 15 mins ago, but as soon as we read it he turned up!)

The queue was quite civilised actually and there wasn't hundreds and thousands like The Sun reported, absolute exaggeration! There were only a couple of hundred lol.

When it was my turn I bounced over and went "Hello Sir!" Sir? SIR? WTF WAS I THINKING?! Why did I call Mika "Sir"?! xD

He asked me how I was and I said that I fine and asked him how he was, but I don't think he replied LOL xD When he gave me my ticket Danika took a picture of me and I am pulling the GAWKIEST face ever :aah:

So I got my ice cream and went off to talk to the others. John was there as well so people had a chat with him.

At one point Mika went off to have an interview done and I thought it was quite sad actually, because when he was out they were still handing out ice cream and stuff, and thought it was a shame that people at the back of the queue didn't get to meet him, thought they could have paused the queue and waited but heyho.

Mika had another interview and then I believe he ended up leaving.

As the crowd died down we had lunch at this place down this alleyway thing and I got changed into my gold and silver dress.

Then we went on our merry way to Paul O'Grady!

Part 2 coming up...

Is there nothing in the print version of the Sun?

Yes, there was a small article like in their web page, I bought the Sun from the airport.

Wow, I'm at home now. About the gig. I'm so glad I went there :wub2: I have a few photos of Mika and the ice cream van, I show them in a minute. He was SO cute there, I loved that part of the gig!!

I think it was a different and special gig in many way. I laughed so hard and enjoyed so much. That hole in his trousers was hilarious :biggrin2: He had a hole in his pants (what are they called, lol?), his shirt was sweaty and his make up didn't last the whole gig (but it was amazing, new MFC colors, as someone already said!), and I was worried because he was touching his throat so many times (but he sounded very good, I think). And still I'm sure everyone was thinking that "you are so gorgeous!" and "we adore you", I mean the atmosphere was really warm and loving. I hope he could feel it, do you think he could?

I filmed, but I must warn you that my vids are terrible. I was so close I mostly filmed his shoes, legs and some other parts of his body :aah: But I show them any way as soon as I have time.

We got to Paul O'Grady and joined the "special queue" xD Fred was already there and so was Cassie and Rose, so I joined them (the others were nearer the front) and DaisyLou also joined us. Fred had a bottle of champagne for Mika to say thanks to him after everything he's done for us on behalf of MFC, which I thought was lovely, but security said he couldn't take it in so Fred had to leave it in reception. (I should really start calling him Dave lol). The lostintv guy was there who is LOVELY by the way, I don't know how many times I said thank you to him throughout my stay at the studios :aah:

Anyway, so we got let in and me, Fred, Cassie, DaisyLou, Rose and BexxY were on the lefthand side (but if you looked at the audience from the TV perspective we were on the right) about 4 rows up?

The warm up guy was hilarious, some darkish skinned black curly-ish haired man made us feel comfortable and made us laugh loads. Bit intimidating though, I didn't wanna be picked out by him cos he was very quick witted :aah:

Anyway the show started and I have to say Paul O'Grady is rather tall  I was expecting him to be quite short lol!

Anyway, I'm guessing you all know what happened on the show. It was really good, had a nice view, and when Mika came on to sing the whole audience (or MFC at least xD) practically shouted out the lyrics and we were dancing and clapping in our chairs. I was clapping throughout the entire song, I'm surprised I don't have bruises! Mika was a lot more confident on this show than he was on the Jonathon Ross show, he performed like he was at an actual gig in the studio, or that's what it seemed like anyway, I haven't watched the episode yet.

The show was lots of fun, just felt like you were at home watching it really :aah:

Oh, and that guy walking all over the mannequin? OH MY GOD?! He was amazing (with a delicious body may I add) and there no wires or anything. He was simply brilliant. My mouth was open the entire time xD (NOT drooling but from horror in case he fell! xD)

Anyway the show finished and we got a nodding Olga. I forgot to mention that at the ice cream van I asked Ross if we were allowed to take a gigantic poster home, and he gave me one. So, not only did I have to lug around two bags, I had this ginormous poster and now I had this dog in a box :aah:

When we got out I followed Freddie into reception to get the champagne back. The champagne was given to Rose and it became her duty to either give it to Mika herself or to give it to someone in his management.

We got a cab straight away and went to the venue.

There weren't many people there at all and managed to get with the MFCers who got there before us. Danika and I were busting for the toilet so we went to a café place...thing...but whilst we were doing our thing Mika turned up at the venue so we missed him :aah:

Ah well. We got back and it was starting to get dark really quickly. The soundcheck was really loud so we were singing away lol.

We got let in the venue and it's the most bizarre place ever, I recorded us going in. We started to queue inside and ended up by a bar. The sound check could be heard through the speakers so we started to sing again with bar staff dancing away xD Got that on camera too. Quite funny actually, cos we later found out that someone in the queue tweeted saying that there were some nutty Mika fans who already knew the words to the new songs and the record only came out today :aah: MFC kick ass!

The queue ended up snaking round and there was no security, so when the doors opened everyone squished through and they ran to the front. MFC would have got first and/or second row if things were civilised, but I believe only Sara and Daz were front row. Danika and Rose and others were several rows behind. I was with Katie in the centre but several rows back. I am really short so I couldn't see a thing, and I knew that everyone's hands would be in the air and my view would be even more restricted. Katie said we should just go to the back because the view would be better. I objected at first because I like being close, but admitted defeat and went to the back.

It was a shame to be honest actually because if people weren't so bloody rude...

So we joined Babs, Jemma, Daisy, Jules and Kev, Sarahlou (was there anyone else?)

Whilst we were waiting Ross came over and had a chat with me and Babs. He is really lovely. We ended up swapping contacts :-)

Mika came on and you know how it was, it was amazing.

The good thing about being at the back was that I didn't need to wear my high heels, so throughout the entire gig I was barefoot. Honestly, it's SUCH a relief! :aah: Also there was tons of space cos everyone was squished at the front, so we were able to do what the hell we liked. They all formed a row at the back and were dancing away but I went to left on my own because for me the view was alot better, so i raved on my own :aah: I still interacted with the MFCers and swapped sides and whatever, but most of the time I was on my own. But that was my own choice and I still had a really good time.

Also, I managed to say hello to Mama P and Andy was there with a girl enjoying the gig, and saw Fortuné, Zuleika and Yasmine watching the gig. Bless Fortuné, he was dancing away :roftl: Mama P was recording, and I think she was wearing the blue dress that she wore in Grace Kelly. But I could be wrong.

The only thing that got me down about this gig was that, because we were at the back, I did feel slightly detached. The atmosphere was completely different. There were times when I was dancing or doing actions with MFCers and not keeping my eye on Mika - who I was meant to be there for - and had to keep reminding myself that I was at a gig and not some party.

Though the good thing being at the back was that you had room to dance instead of being squished, and to be honest I enjoyed the freedom.

I prefer seated gigs :aah:

It was meant to be seated apparently :dunno:

The ice cream bit:

Well, i decided to go with a friend, coz it was my first mika experience! We thought there would be LOADS of people, so we decided to go early, and got there at about 10.30ish...:mf_rosetinted:

The area looked a bit weird, and we wernt sure where to go, coz there was no crowd! But then we passed a coupla brightly dressed people, who turned out to be MFCers!! :biggrin2:

I love how you can just pick out the mika fans from the 'normal' people!!:naughty:

I was kinda shy at first:blush-anim-cl:, coz everyone seemed to know eachother, and it was my first time meeting everyone! I reconised quite a few people ( Rose, Danika, Cazgirl...)

Newayz, i didnt realise 'porn-star-like' my user name sounded!!! agatha 'xxx' lol!! Was kinda embarassing when people said it out loud!!! :wink2:

The ice cream van arrived at 11ish i think, and we kinda just formed a queue (mfcers at the front!!) Must have been weird for normal people walking past, seeing a huge queue outside an ice cream van!!!!! They prob thought we were a bunch of weirdos waiting for ice cream!! :roftl:

But then they put up these huge posters... which kept falling off!

We were waiting for quite a while, and i saw the ice cream man polishing the inside of the truck, and i remember telling my friend, maybe its coz mika was coming!! :wink2:But i didnt wanna get my hopes up!

I then heard the bouncers telling the people on the side something about no screaming and pushing, and i asked an mfcer what was happening, and she said Mika was coming!!!!!!!! I was like OMG Mika!!!!!!! :boing:

Well, then he came in a silver van, and went into the ice crean van, and started handing out tickets! When i went up, i asked him to sign my drawing (he touched my pen!!!) and then i just kinda went blank!!! Idk what happened, guess i was star-struck! Even forgot to get my ice cream lol!!

Was lucky we were at the front of the queue, coz the bouncers we like 'no autographs' the the people at the end. The bouncers were scary!:mf_rosetinted: lol

Was a great way to meet/see mika for the first time! As i got to meet him and get an autograph!!

Mika then did two interviews, and went back into the van and drove off :emot-sad:

The 'green guy' who i think is ross, said we can hep ourselves to the posters, so we took one!!!

I then had to hurry home to dump the poster and eat!!....

Anyway so we all went outside to wait for Mika and we waited for an absolute age lol. We saw Andy so Rose, BexxY and I went to see him. We told him that we nicknamed ourselved the manic monkeys LOL (I went to write manic monday on twitter to rose but almsot wrote "monkey" instead of "monday" xD) and Andy said he wanted to see monkey constumes LOL!!!

Oh, and I have to say this because it completely took me by surprise.

Before Mika was on the stage, I went to the bar to get an Apple Juice, and as I turned round I saw Andy in the corner of the room with people and he saw me and waved. That made me feel special, because I was certain he recognised me and knew who I was.

So, when we saw him outside in the queue waiting to meet Mika, Andy gave me a hug  I was not expecting it all, he just randomly gave me one, which made me feel really happy. Despite running away from me at Hammersmith in '08 (NO Andy, I shall never forget! xD) he is actually quite a nice guy lol.

Anyway, so Mika came out and I had my ginormous poster ready for him to sign. I wanted to record but my hands were completely full, so I couldn't :-(

Anyway he just came over and started signing before I knew it, so I said "can you sign this for me please?" so I didn't just look like a rude fan with something ready for him to sign :roftl:

While he was there, I said "did you get the champagne?" and he stared at me, wide eyed and was like "whaaat?" (it wasn't just a quick glance, it was proper staring, real eye contact staring kinda thing. I was thinking "oh my God Mika is looking at me :teehee:" :roftl:) so I said "yeah, it's from Freddie on behalf of him and MFC. Rose gave it to Cherisse. Didn't she give it to you?" and he went "Nooo!!" so I said "that means she's drunk it all" LOL!! then Mika said "What champagne is it?" and Rose told him it was Moet? Or something. Mika went silent and then he went "...I'm gonna kill her." LMAO!!

Rose also asked him what he was doing before the filming in Milan, or something or other, and Mika said he had no idea, and jokingly said *in a slightly bitter way when you jokingly moan about something* "Probably 8 hours of PROMO!!!"

Mika looked completely at ease and comfortable, which was lovely to see.

Anyway so he went off down the queue and then he left. Sara, the Italian lady and I got a cab and Sara and I got to Kings Cross.

I had a disasterous journey home.

I got to London Fenchurch St eventually but the gates were shut. I was like SH*T. I saw this notice saying that if we needed trains we needed to go to a different entrance. I tried to keep calm but I WAS worrying, because I had no idea where this other entrance was and the streets were dead and there were no signs. I ended up being at this office thinking it was the other entrance and spoke to someone on the intercom asking about trains, but they laughed and said they were an office and I felt rather silly  He said he'd be down to help in a minute so I waited.

I turned around and I saw this car stop outside the building and window rolled down. It was the guy I was talking to through the intercom, and he said he'd offer me a lift. I was thinking "oh HELL no!!" so I politely refused and just asked for instructions. His instructions were crap so I tried to go back to Tower Hill (which was near the shut entrance of Fenchurch Street) but I must have taken a wrong turning and ended up having no idea where the hell I was.

I must have looked lost as well because this other guy offered me a lift  I politely refused this other guy and luckily, VERY VERY LUCKILY AND I THANK YOU GOD IF YOU EXIST, I spotted and taxi and ALSO very luckily I had some money on me. So I hailed a taxi and asked him to take me to the main entrance of Fenchurch street station.

It was shut.

I was starting to worry even more and I was like "WHAT DO I DO?!?!" Very luckily, my taxi driver (who was very nice) was actually FROM Essex, and said that Liverpool Street station is open later than Fenchurch street and that I could get off at Rayleigh. I was like THANK YOU, YOU ARE A STAR, TAKE ME TO LIVERPOOL STREET!"

Luckily the price only came to £7 something, so I had enough money. Thank you God, thank you God, thank you God.

Anyway, I managed to get home safe and sound and arrived home at about 2am

Whew.

Right, now I'm gonna write about these Indian girls :aah:

I thought exactly that when I watched it. (The bolded part, that he played it like a gig). You could really see him playing to the audience and gesturing to you guys and I'm sure it made such a difference to have MFC'ers there.

Oh and :das: swapped contacts huh? This sounds very promising:teehee:

These Indian girls were at the ice cream van and Danika and I spotted them straight away. I remembered how they treated Mika on stage and Scala and even thinking of them makes my blood boil :roftl:

Whe Mika was having his interview done there was security there blocking people but those two girls were right there trying to get a good view of him and just wouldn't give him space.

At the gig when Katie and I were part of the crowd, one of them was right next to me trying to push her way to the front. I was so angry and I just shouted at her :aah: I was like "NO! You can't push your way to the front! We've been queueing up for ages and WE'RE not at the front, so you can suffer like the rest of us!" and she was like "oh but I need to find my sister and she's at the front" and I was like "I don't care, you shouldn't have seperated."

So the other side was on the other side of Katie and the two sisters "found" each other and the girl who was by Katie was like "I was at the front, someone down there has saved our space, I've found my sister and now we're going back." and I said "NO, because you're pushing in!" and she said "No I'm not because I have a spot" and I said "F*CK OFF, you are pushing in!"

and then she was like "I'm sorry if this upsets you but I've been to too many gigs to care where I stand" so I stand "Well stay where you are then!"

They ended up leaving that spot, and they managed to get a spot at a far corner NEAR the front, but not AT the front. Good, as well. Idiots! :furious:

Also when we were queueing up to meet Mika, the two Indian girls (and two other girls that pushed in front of BexxY at the gig) were surrounding the car which was right by the entrance. When they ended up moving, me, Rose and Daisy told them to join the back of the queue and to wait like the rest of us! I ended up saying that they could wait their turn like the rest of us.

Honest to God, I don't get angry often at all, I don't believe I've ever been angry on here, but those two girls really do get my knickers in a twist.
