But, if you like, in this video there's the moment when Mario comes back in his country, near the city of Olbia, Sardinia. The video is very tender, you can see where Mario comes from, a small country, in a quite difficult region to live, without many jobs possibilities. You can see the "wind turbines", those huge propellers that are used to harness the energy of the wind and create electricity, where Mario worked before losing his job and trying to enter in XF. You can see the country's small theater, where Mario sings for the first time, and all the people who could not enter, but followed him outside, in the cold, on a big screen. I've seen bits and pieces here and there, but never saw her sing the whole song from start to finish. I know the full episode is online, but I didn't want to spend that much time -- just wanted to see that 5 minutes or so. Is it out there and I missed it? Yes, indeed. I thought maybe she was a little bit pitchy on this, but she was so clearly enjoying it, and she just sparkles on stage -- IMO at least. I'm not a fan of Madh, everything he does sounds the same to me. Same with Ilaria. I don't expect him to win, but Mario really showed me something when he sang his own composition the other day -- I really enjoyed that side of him, and that song, very much. Still, I do believe Lorenzo will be the winner. If Italian voters are anything like the voters on the American shows like this (i.e. teenage girls), they almost always go for the cute, safe white boy. I want to tell the truth, in the beginning I didn't like Mario, but now I can't stop listening to his Horizon song. After knowing him better as I person I started to consider him handsome (his beard makes his eyes and his whole appearance more expressive and beautiful) and interesting. If Lorenzo wins, it will be another boring Tesorino His song was OK, but there are lots of such songs on the radio, and one doesn't even knows the names of all those people who sings such kind of songs. To see Mario in the final and not Emma, has angered many people, because between Emma and Mario, it was clear that Emma was superior. But I think it's a mistake to compare Emma only with Mario, because Emma is superior to all the other competitors. She had to be there in the final, however. It's absurd, the whole show has lost much credibility with her exclusion. For the rest, I find it simplistic to think that Mario is voted just because he is tender, or because he lost his job and people feel sorry for his situation. People are not stupid at all: there is something of Mario that has affected the public. Mario is not perfect, but he is a classic italian singer and songwriter, credible and capable. He has a sincere story to tell. He's very communicative, he has not fear and he can improve a lot. After XF, he can build a more solid career than those of the other competitors.
