  1. Since we're a massive music loving community, I think its only fair to make a thread for people who love Classic Rock, which is some of the greatest music ever made, and has laid the foundation for many great artists of the present, Mika included. I count classic rock as anything from the 60's all the way to the late 80's. If you want to be a Classic Rocker, just post and I'll assign you a number. Classic Rock Artists/Bands: Led Zeppelin The Beatles The Who The Rolling Stones Deep Purple Rainbow Jimi Hendrix Bob Dylan Scorpions Queen David Bowie The Eagles Foreigner The Doors Genesis Bad Company The Clash Free Elton John Guns n' Roses Styx Marillion Fleetwood Mac Pink Floyd Cream The Grateful Dead Journey Janis Joplin AC/DC Aerosmith Bad Company Billy Joel Boston Bon Jovi Metallica Eric Clapton Electric Light Orchestra Iron Maiden Judas Priest Rush T.Rex Uriah Heep Jefferson Airplane U2 Phish Stone Temple Pilots Creedence Clearwater Revival The Firm Frank Zappa Steely Dan Van Halen Whitesnake And I'll take the honor of being Classic Rocker #1 Cattie Gurl: Classic Rocker #2 Fmbm: Classic Rocker #3 CartoonKellyGreen: Classic Rocker #4 Haylie19: Classic Rocker #5 martine: Classic Rocker #6 mikas_gal07: Classic Rocker #7 Queenie: Classic Rocker #8 mandilambi: Classic Rocker #9 Karolin': Classic Rocker #10 Suzie: Classic Rocker #11 mercurygirl: Classic Rocker #12 Blue: Classic Rocker #13 my_rainbow_radio: Classic Rocker #14 andi: Classic Rocker #15 crina: Classic Rocker #16 heineken22: Classic Rocker #17 kk448: Classic Rocker #18 NYMommyof3: Classic Rocker #19 Finkster: Classic Rocker #20 phunkygal: Classic Rocker #21 Kinga: Classic Rocker #22 Esperia75: Classic Rocker #23 JeyJen: Classic Rocker #24 Queenie87: Classic Rocker #25 englishrose:Classic Rocker #26 Cynthia Mulat: Classic Rocker #27 MIKA_OBSESSED: Classic Rocker #28 musicfreak: Classic Rocker #29
  2. Thanks for posting that! To be honest, that was the first time I've ever heard John speak...
  3. haha. I was sitting there going "why is a girl playing kid Freddie? or is it a boy? nah thats a girl...but why is that outfit so exposing for a girl...I guess it is a boy..."
  4. I thought the boy at the beginning with the harlequin outfit and long hair was a girl for the longest...then I realized a little too much chest was exposed for it to be a girl...
  5. Queen has videos for tons of their songs that I know of but have never seen, especially their 80's stuff...Although Radio Ga Ga is one that most Queen fans have probably seen...
  6. I know. I remember a week or so ago I saw this commercial for Good Morning America, about Mika, and it was like 'He's taken the rest of the world by storm, and now he's ready to conquer the US' or something similar, so he's just beginning to really catch on here. (finally!)
  7. LICM was in the top ten on the US itunes store for quite awhile after it came out, but I agree that it should be higher than it is now.
  8. Sigh. I've never been to one of Mika's shows before. I almost went to one in June, but alas, school interfered. I'll just have to catch him when he does his next US tour.
  9. Those are some pretty awesome shoes.
  10. I was lucky enough to catch Mika's performance last night, and I loved it...But my oblivious brother, who apparently thought it was American Idol or something was like 'yeah, he's getting voted off tonight' I didn't know whether to laugh at him for that or force him to listen to all of LICM.
  11. I've honestly never given Made In Heaven a complete listen, because it just feels...weird. I usually just listen to the title track and Let Me Live and Mother Love, but I'll have to check this Track 13 out.
  12. I'd be scared to get beat up by Freddie. He seemed like he could be pretty deadly with that half microphone stand.
  13. We have so many artists from the U.S., but now that I think about it, most of the people I listen to aren't from America... If I had to choose my favorites, I'd pick Maroon 5, Queens of the Stone Age, Jeff Buckley, Styx, and the White Stripes.
  14. I got: Led Zeppelin - IV/Zoso Alice in Chains - Dirt Dokken - The Very Best of
  15. Good for Mika! but that Umbrella song is very catchy....Umbrella, -ella, -ella, -ella, -eh, -eh gah, now its going to be stuck in my head again... Whoot! 300th post!
  16. My list is pretty long, and spans pretty much everything from heavy metal to pop. My favorites (aside from Mika) Queen, Judas Priest, Led Zeppelin, Nightwish, Queensryche, The Beatles(together and solo), Boston, Journey, Maroon 5, Franz Ferdinand, Jason Mraz, Ours, Jeff Buckley, Queens of the Stone Age, Muse, The Killers, Wolfmother. Those are the ones I listen to the most.
  17. I'd like for him to teach me how to play piano. That would be a really fun and awesome experience.
  18. Welcome to the forums! And I assure you, the Mika obsession is a wonderful thing.
  19. I'd ask him if he wasn't a singer what other sort of career would he want to have. I just couldn't imagine him having a regular job, but it would probably be loads of fun to be one of his co-workers.
  20. yeah, its those sorta things that seemed to have made Brian not fond of the press over the years. But we'll see what they have to say when the new Q + PR album comes out next year. And I've been fine. Just busy with trips and planning for college and that sort of stuff, but I'm free now and back to being lazy for the rest of the summer.
