    Well to be fair we (UK) did protest the last time he sang a French song, but that was because (a) he hadn't been in the UK for years and (b) it wasn't one of his best. We probably wouldn't have minded EMD then. But some of the new French songs are really good and the reception might be different this time.

    It would be quite a detour for Glitterbug if she is coming from Gatwick - the driver might not want to do it. It should be possible to get a bus from Heathrow to Hammersmith Broadway via Slough (you would have to change buses at Slough). Otherwise you could get a taxi but this will be expensive.

    It's possible that you have accidentally followed a forum (eg Before the Show) rather than an individual topic. You can check this by clicking on your profile, then going into Settings. Choose Manage Followed Content and see if Forums shows any followed. You can change notifications there. You can also check Topics and alter notifications.

    Rather belatedly catching up with Blue Lights, before the second series starts. Not your usual police series, and can be quite disconcerting, but well worth watching.

    Always difficult to predict how early to queue; Mika hasn't appeared in Manchester for some time so there might be a lot of people eager to see him. Also it's a Sunday so people wouldn't be at school/college/work, so more might be prepared to queue earlier. On the other hand, it's Manchester and April so it will probably be raining - that might put people off. Also this is at O2 Apollo - O2 users may have a priority queue - if you are an O2 user it might be worth checking this with the venue.

    Have just discovered that it is World Sparrow Day - how could we overlook such an event?

    There are also rolling strikes on the main railway lines so different companies affected on different days, with rolling stock likely to end up in the wrong places. Unfortunately this could affect anyone travelling from Gatwick airport on Monday 8th
