    Thanks everyone! Hi Teresa! No I didn't, because I'm living in Cork. I've a friend who works for TG4, he interviewed Mika on Arthur's Day, and I figured if Mika was doing interviews on Arthur's afternoon in Dublin, he was probably performing there. Did you see him? I'm hoping if he does an Irish show with the new album I'll get to see him then - I've never seen him live!!

    I haven't been here in a loooong time, so I figure I'll say howdy again because there's probably a ton of new faces since the last time I was here! Is anyone I remember still here?! Anyway, I'm Noll, I'm 24, Irish and I've been a fan of Mika's for years, but a desire to talk about the new album inspired me to get posting on here again. And I'm determined to stick around this time!

    I love this thread! *Subscribes* I NEED to do my LICM suit picture... I have one for TBWKTM, which I did for the yearbook, some people may or may not remember it: but I'm actually going to re-do it in a different pose (more forward-facing) to match the similarly forward-facing pose I have in mind for my LICM one.

    Thanks so much to everyone who uploaded videos and photos - it's great to see a bit of what I missed, even if I'm so much more gutted now that I couldn't go. Watching 'My Happy Ending' now and it's actually making me a little teary. Still have my ticket here and all.

    It had been a while since I listened to this album prior to today, and I just fell in love with it all over again. I think, coming at it afresh, Pick Up Off The Floor is probably my favourite overall and Toy Boy in terms of his style alone, but it changes so often!

    Yup it's fine, I just can't afford the travel and accommodation after Christmas, I thought I would, but I ended up going to two gigs since I bought the ticket and now just can't afford it.

    Hi guys! Anyone miss me? I've been absolutely DYING with (swine) flu. No, I kid, it was normal flu. I am not a biohazard, I swear. I've been online but in a vegetative state, not even talking to anyone on msn. So what have I missed?! How're the exams going, anyone doing them? Other than being sick, I've taken on NaNoWriMo (write a short novel in 30 days - really bad idea when I'm so busy, but there you go) and also the book forum I moderate/review for has nabbed an interview with John Connolly (Irish author? Anyone? No?), which falls to me to write/sort,while trying to sort one I've already got going. I'm kinda repressing the knowledge of everything I have to do.

    Love it. Love love love it. Way more than BIOTG. Yeah, the people are a bit strange, but there's always going to be something strange in his vids, and I really like this video.

    Cool. The only thing I would ask is, leave the sky fairly plain, because theres going to be lyrics going in the sky (background lyrics, they'll disappear behind the theatre.) If you draw up a rough sketch and post it in the chat thread, that would be great :D

    Well, you can do the background for the front cover, that's the biggest opening right now. What that involves is drawing a cartoony theatre (outside the front doors) and the pavement/sky etc around it where Mika and the mubbins will be. Or, if you'd prefer something smaller, there's a list of things in the first post of the new thread for discussions. You could draw mubbins or something else. Whatever you feel you'd enjoy most :)

    It's come to my attention that somebody else asked to do the Good Mika ages ago, as I'm only new to this gig I didn't realise that. Since she asked first, and it's the one thing she wants to do, it's kinda only fair that she get to do it. She wanted to do the background of the front cover as well, but since she can only do one thing, the background (theatre, trees, payment etc) of the front cover is up for grabs if you'd like to do that.

    I sorta guessed that But realistically, I won't actually mind not being near the front. I'd rather be in the middle with a bunch if MFC-ers than alone at the front, you know? We should totally make an MFC flag and bring it with us. There's people flying in from HOW many countries for this gig? It's a major event!
