    I got round to finally watching this at the weekend and it's such a good film! I can see why it's one of your favourites. The depiction of Queen Victoria is hilarious! 😂 Another stop-motion film I would recommend (and watched again recently) is 'Isle of Dogs'. Created by Wes Anderson, he is a master of the stop-motion style, I still think he needs to work on the actual story telling (same goes for some other films of his) but the film is wonderfully made and if you love dogs you will love this film.

    I really hope so! I usually stick to the same TV mag every week, but next week I might just buy a few different ones just to see any images and interviews with Mika! 😅

    Got the weekly TV magazine today and on the back page it always tells you what's coming up in the following week and I couldn't believe it when I saw this! The next TV magazine is out on the 7th of Feb but the listings inside start from the 11th, so that could be the earliest date The Piano starts with the 17th being the latest possible date. I squeeled like a little girl when I saw this, I'm so excited!!!

    Well he is succulent... (and cactuses are my favourite plants!) Like how he says "Ready" but hasn't put his necklaces on, I don't feel fully dressed without my jewellery! 😅

    Keeping this thread on topic... Not in a good head space right now 😔 If someone you know is struggling, a friend or family member, please PLEASE check in on them. If you notice that their behaviour has changed, even in just the slightest way, it could be a sign that something is wrong. A simple message or text asking how they are could mean everything to them on a bad day. Or you know pick up the phone and actually call them?! (people still do that right?) Just let your friends know they're loved, please. I am ok, in the sense that I'm not in a crisis or anything like that, I can't give context but I just wanted a safe place to say something because of something a friend told me today, and it's been a lot to take in.

    "Catch a break" is an expression but it doesn't mean taking a break from something. It's often used when someone is exasperated with a situation that isn't going their way so a person might say "why can't I catch a break?", meaning "when are things going to go right for me?" I guess that could relate to the song with how they're singing about wanting love and comfort, maybe because of a stressful situation?

    Quoting you into this thread so that the "How are you feeling?" one doesn't go off topic. I forgot about Redbubble! I'll probably look into that too, it's great for photos and digital patterns that work well on a variety of products. It just can't be used as a market place for anything you've made yourself, but it can be a good source of income to have on the side! (even if it is only small)

    What about ko-fi? No listing fees, just 5% commission on sales or 0% if you do decide to pay for gold membership. People can just send you tips too and all tips are 100% yours! I'll probably use ko-fi to start out with and if all goes well I might consider Etsy in the future.

    The more I listen the more I'm beginning to hear different things! At the start to me it sounds like "comfort, come for me" Then I heard "catch a bridge" (what does that even mean?! 😅) And finally "from my Jimmy to my jar" which just sounds wrong! (Just what kind of doctor is Mika seeing 🙈)

    Talking about cheese, they say eating it before bed gives you nightmares... Well I thought I'd listen to the song on the lowest speed setting on YouTube to try and make out the words a bit better... I don't think I'll be sleeping tonight! 😅 The song suddenly goes from a happy upbeat vibe to the creepiest thing I've ever heard! If you do try this yourself don't say I didn't warn you! (same goes for Grace Kelly 🙃)

    I do think that if you live somewhere rural, remote or nowhere near a city it is harder to find work, especially if you're looking for more unique jobs that tie in with whatever degree you did. I graduated 2017 and I'm still looking for something that would suit me in my area, but I live in a tiny town with very little job opportunities (the pandemic didn't help either 🙃). It's frustrating because I put so much effort into studying and getting a heck of a lot of experience through voluntary work too. Without a car (yet) I can't really look too far away from home either. In the past I've thought to myself "why did I put myself through that?" and "What's the point?", I wouldn't know if you ask yourself these questions too and yes it gets you down, I've been there and I still get feelings of loneliness too. For me this year I've realised that it's the choices I make that are going to get me somewhere, I can't just sit idly and hope something will just magically come my way. My New Year's resolution is to be more positive and go out and find my own opportunities, one start for me is that I've already written down a small business plan to sell homemade crafts. It's a small idea, still has risks too but it's the determination I have that's keeping me going. This is quite a rant too, sorry! 😅 But I hope for you too @BeccaStardust that whatever choice you make or whatever opportunity comes your way, that it works out well for you and that you won't regret it and just enjoy doing something you love!

    A bit like Club Tropicana, where the drinks are free but only if you're called Jimmy, and the barman will never ask "why the long face?" because everyone is best friends with Mary Jane! After a quick google I did actually discover Jimmy's Gay Bar in Las Vegas! Next stop for an MFC meet up?

    Me too! I was actually thinking that the "bing!" (or "ding" to me) sounds like the noise you hear at the doctor's surgery when your name is called in! Or is that just me? 😅
