But I really wanna know! ok a few days ago, I checked that there were quite a number of 'new' songs from our man, Mika on YouTube and they're not from his Life in Cartoon Motion album... with the exception of Ring Ring, Erase and Instant Martyr which are special extras for certain LICM albums (last time I checked it was... ) some of these songs are posted as demos... so that means that they're not out yet... or are they? that's what i wanna know... are they gonna be in a new album? i hope so cos they're really great! and i'd just love for a new Mika album to come out! here's a list of the songs: The Only Lonely One You Made Me Holy Johnny- this he played live at Alcatraz, Milan on 12/04/2007.... You Made Me, Sally, Overrated, Loverboy and Intoxicated are forbidden demos that Mika has politely requested that we don't start sending them around. I've managed to get Erase an an MP3. It is slightly annoying trying to get all the released songs but so worth it! I've go tthem all on one CD that I burned now to play in the car! Personally I love them so much, but of course I won't tell where I got them. So beautiful... just the piano and Mikas voice. And as it's been mentioned, The Only Lonely One and Instant Martyr have been put on the last two singles. As for the rest, I would presume that if Mika doesn't want them to be heard yet, best to leave it alone, although I believe that Erase and Your Sympathy have been available on Itunes for a while (thats were I heard Erase anyway). It's possible these other demos aren't meant for the public,(wasn't he a bit dubious about Instant Martyr being on the Big Girl CD release) or maybe they are the ones he is saving for the EP he is due to release later in the year. Link was posted in several threads back in June when it came out here. Erase also appears on the US edition of LiCM. Instant Martyr is on the single of Big Girl, as is Sweet Dreams cover, live in Hong Kong The only lonely one is on the single of Love Today Holy Johnny is being played at most live shows so might appear on a single soon (B side to Happy Ending single???) The others may or may not appear sometime, but we have been asked by Mika himself not to spread them or have them on this forum. Threads about them sometimes get closed by the mods. I think it will be on his next album and possibly a single, or at least I hope so. As for the demos, who knows. We know for sure because Mika himself told Sivan that he'd prefer it if we didn't spread the word about the unreleased tunes -- I imagine that something like Instant Martyr, which now appears on the Big Girl single, is fair game to at least talk about. The others may or may not appear sometime, but we have been asked by Mika himself not to spread them or have them on this forum. Threads about them sometimes get closed by the mods.
