I noticed those bracelets early on and wondered which one of us made them!!! Congratulations!!!!! Hee hee.... He loves our stuff. :) They were awesome.

I made him a t shirt, and if I see a pic of him wearing it I'll just die. :wub2:

Loving reading all of what you all experienced. I'm sorry I didn't recognize everyone from the MFC...I was standing right near some of you and didn't know it. In DC Deb had a banner made, maybe we'll have to have another at the next one in the area so we don't all miss one another. I saw the ugly doll getting passed to him. What a great idea! :)

It is wonderful, this Mika-high, after seeing him. Feels so good.

Isn't it amazing how charismatic he is? I've never met or seen another person with that kind of power....that draws you in like he does. When he made the comment about the radio...not getting airplay here in the US, it made me want to go and beat down the doors to every station. I know...I know...Drink the koolaid.....How many cups, darling? LOL!

Infinite Green, Mika may have more than one manager. I know in DC he had a guy named Jerry with him, and I didn't see Jerry at all in Philly. Pity, 'cause Jerry was SUPER nice to us MFC'ers in DC. I'm sure people met with Mika inside (whomever had passes) and they probably got a longer visit because it was warm inside. Doesn't seem like any of the MFC got that chance this time though.

*giggles*...sorry, had to laugh. I can just imagine you doing that slow, sarcastic clap. :wink2:

I know. It's sort of hard for me to sound threatening when I use such great detail, isn't it?:wink2:

Just read all the gigs stories at this thread and the others, it is hard to follow sometimes LOL, but nonetheless i am very happy to read the reports and they make me even more impatient towards the London gig i am attending. :D

Yay, people are coming back!!

Thanks for the reports, and don't worry we DEVOUR every word. Just keep 'em comin'!!!:wink2:

And A.CLAY c'mon, don't keep us waiting too long!!

I don't know Blue Sky -- A. Clay lives here near me, so even if she's

driving home tonight, she won't be back for another hour or two,

depending on when she actually left Philly. I'd guess she's

spending the night there, so we won't hear from her until tomorrow

sometime.

But I AM anxious to hear her story! :original:

After the concert/meeting, we shared a cab with A.Clay and her son-in-law and dropped them off at a restaurant that is open late. I think they are planning to stay in Philly for a day or two so unless she finds a computer, you may have to wait. On the other hand, she is resourceful so I would not be surprised if she popped in tonight!

OK BOYS & GIRLS I'M BACK IN DC. I WAS GOING TO WAIT 'TIL TOMORROW,

BUT THERE IS SO MUCH TO TELL . . . I HAVE MOVED THE REPORT TO THE FRONT

OF THIS THREAD: IT'S EASIER TO READ NOW!

MANY OF YOU MAY NOT KNOW THAT I AM AN OLD, BUT CRAZY BROAD

66 YEARS OLD! SO . . .

I think I saw you when Mika was outside meeting people! If you are the person I'm thinking of, you certainly got Mika's attention. :thumb_yello: This person said she was head of Mika's granny club or something like that. He got a real kick out of that, from what I saw (you also got camera time). :)

WELL, LET ME SAY THIS ABOUT THAT:

STARTING AT ABOUT 9:30 -- JANUARY 31, 2008,

MIKA

O W N E D

"THE ELECTRIC FACTORY!"

HE JUST, OUTRIGHT, OWNED IT!

ALL THE PERFORMANCES WERE SPOT ON.

I LOVED IT ALL.

EVERY TIME HE DID "A LITTLE FREDDIE,"

I DID "A LITTLE FREDDIE!"

SINCE I THINK I'VE SEEN NEARLY EVERY YouTube PERFORMANCE

MIKA'S DONE, I KIND OF KNEW THE DRILL:

I'D JAB "BIG DADDY DALE" & TELL HIM WHAT WAS COMING UP NEXT--

LIKE "OK, NOW HE'S GONNA TAKE HIS SHIRT OFF."

"NOW HE'S GONNA JUMP UP NEAR THE DRUMS."

"NOW, HE'S GONNA SHAKE HIS TUSHIE & THEY'LL ALL GO WILD."

OR I'D TELL HIM THE NAMES OF THE PIECES--

LIKE, "OK, THIS ONE'S GRACE KELLY"

"OH, THIS ONE'S LOLLIPOP."

DURING "LOLLIPOP," HE SAID

"THAT'S WHY THEY ALL WANT TO SIT DOWN THERE, UP FRONT."

(HE MEANT FOR THE MOST "CELEBRATORY/MEMORABLE"

PART OF THE SHOW--THE BOUNCING BALLS, THE CONFETTI CANNONS &

STREAMERS!)

GAWD, WE HAD A GOOD TIME--EVERYONE HAD A GOOD TIME!

oh that sounds fantastic. Wish i was there!

I WILL SAY ALSO AT THIS POINT, THAT I HAD KIDDED ABOUT "PLAYING THE OLD LADY CARD" TO SOME HOW WIGGLE MY WAY TO THE FRONT IF THINGS LOOKED DISMAL!

I HAD MET FAN CLUB MEMBERS WHO WHEN I TOLD MY NAME,

SAID "OH YOU'RE THE ONE THAT POSTS ALL THE PICTURES OF MIKA" &

I SAID, "YES, THAT'S ME!" & DADDY DALE'S JAW WAS ON THE GROUND!

LOL! Your review is BRILLIANT and HILARIOUS! :naughty::roftl:

Awww...thanks for that report A.Clay! There were plenty of parts in there that made me chuckle (plastic bag explanation, getting recognized by MFCers and your son-in-law being amazed at that):roftl:

I'm thrilled you had an awesome time! I want to be enjoying Mika at 66 too!

A COSTUMED PLUSH BUNNY (I THINK) DOWN IN THE AUDIENCE. IT WAS, FOR A BIT, HANGING AROUND THE SOUND EQUIPMENT. IT WASN'T CAUSING A RAUCUS OR ANYTHING.

:lmao: That ruckus line was priceless.

Loved your review, thank you! I'm so glad you enjoyed the show. Mika never disappoints.

While A.CLAY is keeping us ENDLESSLY on the edge of our seats (loving it! Thanks for brilliant report!) I just want to re-iterate what Suzy said

I'm thrilled you had an awesome time! I want to be enjoying Mika at 66 too!

I am closer to that age than you Suzy, by a cat's whisker, and we are going to do the Vegas dinner shows together then aren't we??!!:naughty:

YAAAAAAAY!! That is fantastic!!

He will have you on stage next time, he will probably look out for you LOL!! He has a very good memory!:naughty:

APPARENTLY HE DOES. HE RECOGNIZED AT LEAST TWO FANS WAITING AT THE STAGE DOOR.

ON REFLECTION, I THINK MAYBE I PLAYED THAT "OLD LADY CARD."

BUT AS MIKA SAYS ABOUT SOME OF THE THINGS HE DOES,

"IT WAS UNINTENTIONAL: NOT CALCULATED!"
