nico_collard Posted August 29, 2009 Share Posted August 29, 2009 Hi all, the little joey (who I think mum has finally decided to call Billy [she changes her mind at least twice a day]) made it through the night last night! He wasn't expected to make it to midnight, but we saw a major improvement in just a few hours. This morning, he was no longer rigid or twitching, and he was standing up in his pouch, ready for food! He's been good all day, and other than still being a little weakened from last night, he's back to normal! I had this feeling he was going to pull though. =] In other news, we had sport photos at school today. Being captain of a sporting team does have it's downfalls... lol, I think half our equestrian team thinks I'm ridiculous. But seriously, there were girls who wanted to wear their own jacket in the photo, rather than the school vest that everyone else was wearing, girls who had the wrong blouses, and no-one seemed to be able to tie a tie, myself included! So when we were finally settled for the photo, and I realised that half the girls had long boots, and the others had jodhpurs boots. So we put the girls with the tall boots in the back, and the short boots in the front. The poor photographer. I don't think he's going to want to come back next year! How are we all tonight? Awwwww! Yay for Billy! Sounds like a bit of an ordeal with the photos... Yeah well, i was so excited I wee-ed a bit myself! *gigglesnorts at own joke* A MOMEMT LIKE THISSSSSSS Haha lol... We haven't ordered an internet plan yet, but we were going to go with Exetel 6gb peak/60gb off-peak(2am-12noon) at $45 a month with $40 connection fee. The bundle was $55 a month for 8gb/60gb.Is that a good plan, anyone? Does anyone have a better plan I should hear about before we go ahead with that one? Does anyone think I can survive living with 3gb on peak? (I'm sharing with one person) The bundle sounds okay, but if you can get one where it goes down to dial up speed when you hit the limit might be better... I feel SO stupid!! So I'm trying to participate in this JIM-thingy for the Mika ticets in Bruxelles (not that there is any chance I'd win them ) and they want me to answer the following: "Vraag: wanneer komt het nieuwe album van MIKA “The Boy Who Knew Too Much” in België uit? 17 september 2009 18 september 2009 19 september 2009 *" So when IS it released? I always thought it would be September 21. I googled and everything I find ALSO tells me September 21. I feel STUPID. Which date is it then?? Took handfuls of cold 'n flu tabs & nurofen. Washed it down with a berocca. Trained it. Spent the afternoon in Melbourne with S&M and Bec. We bought jellybellies, and then trammed it to Pancake Parlour. Only saw one guy wearing a face mask. Was hoping for more. I couldn't hear anything for a good 30 minutes while sitting in PP. So Bec & S&M talked amongst themselves. Food was good. Couldn't have eaten dessert like those two did.. ick.. Did the usual swinging bar door trick on S&M whilst going to the toilets there. Went to reject shop and bought maracas, bell stick thingy, and a clacker. PUCA. Made alot of noise out on Bourke St. Trammed it to Melbourne Central. Watched Coraline ft. dodgy 3D glasses. Laughed at "Here's comes the Gravy Train CHOO CHOO". Agreed it was a good chill out movie. Let Bec go first at Maccas so I'd know what would be a good deal. Got a $1 mini frozen coke. Sat around watching free paytv that edit: BEC short circuited ft. a kid outsmarting her. Noisily laughed alot at various stuff.. Trammed it down to Flinders and DQ'd on the Travelodge Bridge.. Walked along Southbank looking for Mother Melzy, Kobiii, and Mother Kobiii.. Saw some guy doing chalk drawing Julian Beever-style.. but it wasn't JB.. Gave him $4 Watched Mickey Mouse dancing.. Gave him $1.. Found the crew. Said "kthnxbai" to Bec & S&M. Wandered around Crown Casino for a bit. Tested some perfumes. Ate something that resembled Chinese food on a way-too-small plate. Caught a taxi to The Palais (Didn't even tourus™). Gawked at all the costumes people had on. Made our way in and bought an Alice Cooper t-shirt for $50. It has spiders all over it. Sexy.. Found our seats. First band was called Electric Mary. It sounded like they played the same song for the first 30 minutes. Then they played another song with 2 extended guitar solos, and a drum solo. Always hated them solos.. Then they played the first song again (or so it seemed). Definitely weren't my taste in music.. Thriller came on the overhead speakers! Nice choice. I fangurled the Vincent Price rap at the end. (Vincent Price has worked with Alice Cooper too) Finally, at 9pm the lights dimmed and the stage lit up. I've resized my pics for easier viewing.. Now, just for the record, not many people realise that Alice Cooper is a fictional character that the lovely Vincent Furnier has been playing for hundreds of years now.. So, I just wanted to inform y'all of that.. Alice getting put in a straight jacket for Ballad of Dwight Fry after he kills a man Alice getting decapitated Of course, he comes back from the dead to dance with Cold Ethyl But, then Alice is killed by lethal injection Alice returns to life and gets tormented by Nurse Rozetta (played by Vince's beautiful daughter, Calico) Alice strangles Nurse Rozetta with her own stockings.... Guitarist in the middle is wearing a face mask!! And they just keep on killing Alice.. Blood splattered all over the centre front row in this death!! Awesome!! But he comes back He flung "diamond" necklaces into the crowd and then Alice Cooper money, but we were too far back even at Row G to get any.. Then it was encore time.. ft. Big balloons filled with confetti.. Kobiii was happy about getting confetti in her hair, and was protective of it.. Hiding any pieces she found under her phone's battery cover to save forever. I loved it much better than the one I went to 19 years ago Had alot to do with being closer though. Looking forward to next years.. Billy (the joey) is doing heaps better, and is currently trying to claw my keyboard. Zoe, (the female joey), on the other hand, is trying to get out of her pouch and sit on my keyboard/get in with Billy. Haha, she's such a handful compared to him! In other news, one of my wisdom teeth is starting to come through. The problem is that I'm under the impression that I don't have enough room for it. =\ You see, I have abnormally large teeth, and have already had 6 surgically removed (several of which were adult teeth) when I was 9, and another two adult teeth removed when I was 11. Even now, there's not much room in my mouth. So naturally, it's quite painful! I thought we (Aus) were getting it early as well... Aw, hope you and your mommy have a great time! But.... thats only cos its a dodgy tv that short circuits if you change the channel more than about 2 times (the other man did it as well) And I gave up on trying to make it work by pressing the button... the kid came over after it had rested and pressed the button ... so he didn't outsmart me :hmph: Glad to see your maracas came in handy Kelz....my bell just provided background music to my walking all day Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
