I totally agree with that, Robi! My only complaint about a few of the songs on LiCM were that the lyrics were weak, or too repetitive. While the music is fabulous, good lyrics are integral to a song too, IMO -- maybe because I'm a writer myself, but I look for a lot of meaning in the lyrics, and feel they give as song added dimension or depth. These lyrics from the four new songs show such growth as a lyricist, if he's responsible for writing all of them. Of course, maybe in some cases Mika collaborated with others on writing them, but still, they provide a great deal of interest. As he said when introducing Toy Boy, it's all about the words, so maybe he himself is placing greater emphasis on the lyrics this time around, too.
