My immune system's gone crazy. I might be ok by then, I might not. IDK atm. But it's just safer to cancel all plans and live like a hermit. Without going into too much detail, since this is a gig thread.. It's all Crohn's related with a dose of anxiety/depression/helpless feeling thrown in the mix to make things really exciting. I was looking forward to meeting/hanging out with everyone on a holiday. The gig itself didn't matter any more to me, as many already know.. I know this is a chronic thing that you always have to beat back but...is there really nothing the doctors can do? Umm.. to answer briefly, Yes. But, I always treat it naturally by myself. And, I always have a bad run after winter. It's important that I do though, because my immune system needs to be balanced. This year has been tougher with extra flu strains that last longer floating around, and so many of you have been catching it so you all know what I mean. Good news though: I've been doing something different last 4 days and it seems to be working. As for doctors: If I was willing to endure the ups and downs of meds then I could become addicted to steroids and strong painkillers and become a bi-polar zombie for 3-6 months. That's how they treat Crohns. Awwww... I really really hope you can... Otherwise, I'll tell Mika that you couldn't make it but wanted to shun him in person that he will... Oh, and I'll PM you.. Tell him I didn't want his boy germs. If this latest little trick I'm trying works out, I could possibly drop my percentage of coming to 50/50. We'll see. I'll have to decide by Monday next week.
