Gary Go Kicks Off First U.S. Tour With Mika

New York (Top40 Charts/ Shore Fire Media) - This summer, Gary Go was traversing Europe opening for Lady Gaga - who called him "my favorite new artist of the year" - with a Billboard prediction that his "universal sound and positive energy signal a bright future."

 

From there he took on the Internet and earned praise from PopEater, Spinner, CNN, Huffington Post and others - who were all enthralled by his talent for making music on his iPhone.

Next up for Go: His song "Open Arms" will air on "The Hills" on October 6 and kick off a 10-date North American tour opening for Mika next week.

Oh thanks Ingie. I saw Mika's American dates on GG's site the other day but I didn't know if he was doing the Canadian ones as well. He seems pretty good.

 

I saw someone complaining on a YT video of Mika's Poker Face cover that Mika already did a cover of Just Dance and he should work on his own music. I see that GG has done a cover of Just Dance so they must be mixing them up.

I think it really helps when you get to know the music that the support band play. At the risk of repeating myself - again - I found out about Pull Tiger tail because they supported Mika in May 2007. I love them, and although they haven't had any success, knowing their stuff made the evening even better......

If I get a job where I want to go I'm going to live with one of my friends who was my past roommate and she has an iPhone. I want to buy her that app so we can try it because I refuse to get an iPhone. It looks fun. I'd like to make calls while using it.
