Yep, fries, cheddar cheese curds and chicken or veal veloutee sauce...wow Guy you gotta teach me a better way to do it, net recipes are weird to follow... and what are curds exactly? cubes? aND HOW DO YOU MAKE HOME MADE SAUCE? never made the homemade sauce for poutine... i buy a mix and add water .... or better yet! go eat it at a restaurant! curd cheese is a very mild cheddar cheese that is made daily. we eat it fresh. it's a bit wet in texture & goes "squeek" when you chew it they sell it everywhere here, even in corner stores. now that being said, you can't get curd cheese everywhere in canada either. where it isn't available, some people use mozzarella cheese. it's not quite same, but it's ok. the gravy changes from restaurant to restaurant. they are all yummy Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
