Indy managed to fall into a canal lock today  He couldn't get out as the water was too low in the lock, my brother went down a ladder at the side and managed to grab him, but then his harness broke! So my brother had one arm holding the ladder, and the other holding Indy by the scruff of the neck, but Indy was just too heavy for him to pull out. Fortunately there was someone passing by who was able to help, otherwise it could have been a drowned dog.

Indy just thought it was all a tremendous adventure :aah:

That's not so far off now, is it? Have you got much left to sort out?

Nope, about 90 days now... still got a bit to do (and I did nothing today!)

Cute! They look exactly the same now :original:

Hopefully they pull their fingers out and admit they were wrong in time for you to have a super awesome honeymoon Teegs :thumb_yello:

Hopefully! Getting a bit sick of it all TBH...

I had to google 'canal lock', but that sounds like a very stressful story! I'm glad he's okay!

It was something like this

The water on one side of the lock gate is high, and low on the other side - you can see the sort of water level drop.

Poor pup! Good thing he's okay...

Speaking of dogs, we've had the in laws' dog at home and he's a lot smaller than Chloe (Derek's dog). So small in fact that he's been able to see under the fence and see the sheep on the other side and start barking at them! :sneaky2::doh:

Indy suicide attempt no 2 (following on from throwing himself in a canal last week):

Biting a pressurised can of fly spray.

Result: can exploded over carpet, chairs covered in fly spray, garden path had to be hosed down from where my brother rushed the can to the dustbin. Indy had to have his mouth washed out and is under observation, but seems unscathed.

NOMS!!!!! :mikalove:

I'm good .. been very busy getting epilepsy checked ... found out I had new seizure type so been looking for new treatments :sneaky2:

I know it can be difficult finding the right meds - my cousin's son has epilepsy and they are always trying different medications and doses. Hope you get sorted out soon :thumb_yello:

What a goose! Good to know he's okay though.

I just had a thought... maybe he's really a cat in disguise and that means he still has 7 lives left...

I'm still alive :blush-anim-cl:

Ally! Good to see you here (despite the fact that I see you all the time on FB)...

Perhaps I can lure people back with more cookies :bleh:

Ooooh, explains a bit.

I'm sure I mentioned it a few pages back, but apparently if I don't have any seizures and the EEG they're going to do next year is fine, then I get to come off Tegretol (slowly) :woot_jump:
