The stage was so close. Mika was so close. You could even see his spit durind his singing sometimes :naughty: Got some on me. Be jealous :mf_rosetinted:

He even looked me in the eyes a few times :wub2:

 

I also went to the M&G :biggrin2: Wendy won that and I could go with her. So many thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It was so :wub2: We were with 5 MFCers. Mika was so nice, so relax. It was so good :wub2:

oh... now this is interesting.

i'm not quite sure what he is saying, but i love the chorus & how the background singers compliment it.

 

i was under the impression this was a dance song... it's a ballad! :blush-anim-cl:

 

unless it's a ballad because it's acoustic... a bit like what he did with Rain :aah:

Stay strong Christine, I already regret listening to it :aah: Wish I didn't listen to this acoustic version before the original one which is supposed to be mid tempo. :doh: And now I only enjoyed the chorus, a bit cheesy song but it's ok.

I guess I just wanna hear a really angry love song from him :naughty:

All those people chatting during the performance are really distracting, I'm trying to figure out all of the lyrics too now.

Good that someone else posted the setlist, since I really don't know which order the songs were anymore. And can't write anything decent about it either. But I'll still write something, or try to.

 

He was half an hour late and it was waaay too short :wink2:

 

First gig I ever saw, fourth row or so, and man is he good! In videos I also look at what the band does, but tonight I only kept staring at him, couldn't help myself, really.

 

Some curls, no hat (he got rid of it after two songs or so) :yay:

 

I was quite surprised he started with TOOL, but I've always thought it was a great song to start a gig with, and indeed it is.

 

People already said it, but two new songs: kids and step with me. I tried to get them on camera for the people that want to hear them, but it's a very simple photo camera, so I have no idea what the result is. If there's not better version I'll try to put them somewhere, if you can hear anything at all.

 

Lola hit me. It was a song I kind of liked, no more, but there was something magical about it tonight, at least I thought so.

 

Annie and Wicky are cool :grouphug: the rest I only saw from afar.

 

Don't know anything more. Maybe tomorrow.

I'm not sure. I was mostly only paying attention to Mika. And listening to the video made me hear how bad it was.

At the entrance there were two different tables with tickets; one for winners and one for people who are invited by l'oreal. And that last one looked like it had more people. Maybe that's why there was talking, most were not real fans. It was also like that at the qmusic showcase in 2009. It's so rude! It wasn't a cafe.
