So I hope it is okay to open this new thread as it has got another intention. Therefore, I'd like to ask you to rate every song on OOL with a mark between 1 and 10 (with 1 the lowest and 10 the highest rating). I think that will reflect the overall evaluation better than only naming one / a few favorites. I'm going to post average values for the songs from time to time. And it would be great if you would only rate the studio-version, not the live-versions. I skip Kids every time it comes on my iPod but I heard the acoustic version and it's much better. I can't really give these songs an objective rating, but this is how I feel about them in relation to one another. Yeah, it's more about the relation of the songs to one another (and maybe to other older Mika-Songs). I like the verses though. Before this version with strings, I totally hated the song and would have given it 1) Underwater: 9 Overrated: 6,5 Kids: 7,5 Love You When I’m Drunk: 10 Step With Me: 7,5 Popular Song: 9,5 Emily: 7 Heroes: 9 Celebrate: 8 Bonus tracks Elle Me Dit: 7 Karen: 7 L’Amour Dans Le Mauvais Temps: 7 (It's better in French than the Blame it on the weather duo with Ida. The music of the French language suits the melody. I hated Blame it on the weather and would have rated it 1 if it had been kept as sung in Compiègne) Un Soleil Mal Luné: 8 (piano and Mika's voice= 9, lyrics= 7. Doriand is no Serge Gainsbourg, nor Jean-Jacques Goldmann, famous French songwriters.) Celebrate (acoustic): I've only listened to it once because I've ordered the UK deluxe version which has not been released yet Will give it a grade later on. So I haven't heard the songs for a few days and want to refresh my memory when I get Origin on Monday. Besides, I haven't heard in full, Tad Dah (or whatever it's called) The Miami Edit of MYH, or the acustic versions of the others, so I'll wait until I've heard everything again, as sometimes, opinions of songs can change after hearing them a few times.
