guylainem123
Sorry, I should have been clearer.I actually meant Lebanon when I said that. That's why I thought it would be nice. But it's a moot point now as it will be done when he gets back here. Not sure why he has to be here for it, unless he 's going to surprise us in some way. awwwwwwwwwww ok.. got ya! mamacatt
football? as in canadian football? hump time? It's prob more of an American football thing. But it's found its way into our everyday convo's. Getting over the "hump" means the worst is over, and it's downhill from here. ie: it's Wednesday, so it's halfway to the w/e! Hump time at a football game is not something obscene, though it may sound it , it just means the game is half over.
level28
Hahaha sienna, I love you, so right and funny Jerry LOL Do you think he just read the Beijing thread, breathed a sigh of relief and thought 'Thank Gawd, this will give us another week '? That's what I thought another week
chickadee
Hello chickadee, hump day is wednesday which is the middle of the week, so it is halfway til the weekend (you know, it's all downhill from here)... Sounds kinda rude the first time you hear it, I know, but it's worse for football games. Half-time is called hump time. Ah! Thanks for that. I guess it makes sense, it's just quite unusual (and a little rude-sounding!) if you don't know:naughty: http://www.mikafanclub.com/forums/showthread.php?t=14387 They are all listed here Thankyou. I'm still managing to miss stuff, even though he's not touring!

avoca
Freddie's Double gave an update in the Mika@Bejing-thread. Don't know how to quote it here, so just the text: Just got a message off Mr Jerry "Mika is in China , once he returns we will be ready for the officialness" thx for keeping us updated. look forward. sounds good to me, as i simply could not be online till the beginning of next week. dcdeb
It has changed now it's after Mika comes back from China and he's staying there a week I think in the interview he said he'd *been* there a week... he made it sound as if he'd already been somewhere else the week before... so I'm thinking that he should be home from China any day now Shouldn’t he stay in Lebanon for the week after that? That turned out to be a false report -- Mika is not scheduled for the Lebanese TV show at all... so I don't think there's any reason to believe he's going to Lebanon now. As for the "official" statement -- really, it'll come when it comes. Don't fret over it. Didn't you ever hear the saying, "A watched pot never boils"? dcdeb

Didn't you ever hear the saying, "A watched pot never boils"? dcdeb I'm fine waiting now The thing that annoyed me was when it was supposed to be on a precise day and finally it was not. But as you said it will be announced when it is announced.
level28
How do we know that the awards he was at wasn't filmed on his 6th day in China? Nothing, pessimism maybe...So that we don't get our hopes up If it was indeed the 6th day then we could go if it's announced sooner

LadyGodiva
i bet that if everybody were to leave the computer and go to the store or something, we'd get the official update. so gettup! Delayedgratification.
Satya82
The waiting is almost comical now. "It's this day. Nope, just kidding. Top of the week! Kidding again. End of the week! Suckers, now Mika's in China!" *shakes head* It has changed now it's after Mika comes back from China and he's staying there a week He said he was taking a two-week holiday. Has he been there for two weeks now, and we'll get news soon? Or just a week, and we're going to wait another week? Or has he just arrived, and we have two weeks to wait? ...it's hard NOT to think about a pink elephant if you're told not to think about it That's a cute pink elephant! Satya82
Delayedgratification. I've failed to learn that completely. Or just refuse to. (But it is purdy, lol.) However, in this case we don't have a choice. We're going to wait, because nothing happens until Mika decides it happens.
